The leisure suite (shared with guests staying in Bettws Hall) has a jacuzzi and sauna to enjoy. Carefully renovated in 2003 set in an area of outstanding natural beauty at the edge of the tiny village of Bettws Cedewain (good pub serving traditional ales and bar meals). Lots of original features and characteristics - solid local Welsh oak floors, beamed ceilings and an elegant staircase from the main drawing room, Furnished with a wealth of antique oak furniture, oak bedsteads, oil paintings and hand-made rugs
Mid Wales/Borders
This is beautiful, untouched and remote mid-Wales with rolling hills and abundant wildlife. Within a 15 minute drive there is Powys Castle and Gardens, Glansevern Hall and Gardens, Gregynog Hall Gardens, Llanfair and Welshpool Light Railway, Montgomery Canal and the enchanting little market town of Montgomery - cobbled streets and Georgian houses which sits below its ruined 13th century castle.
