16th Century Farmhouse
  • Scenic location, nestling on the hillside in Cwm Pennant, one of the most beautiful valleys in Wales, far away from the modern world.
  • Comfortably and simply furnished, this ancient farmhouse (1570) has massive thick stone walls, original stone and slate flag floors, huge inglenooks and a stone spiral staircase - children and grown ups alike are sure to love this home.
  • Owned for many centuries by the Roberts and Owen families who between them produced over 100 doctors and surgeons and served the people of North Wales over many generations.
  • J B Priestley once stayed here and his signature, along with many others who have visited over the years, are preserved on a glass covered panel in the sitting room

  • Criccieth/North Wales
  • Breathtaking scenery with beautiful walks along the river valley (good fishing locally) - small ponds and waterfalls to enchant and gentle hill walking from your doorstep - an old Welsh poem laments that a shepherd's life is too short to fully enjoy the beauty of this valley.
  • Wonderful beaches, fascinating harbours and small towns close by - Black Rock Sands a vast golden beach that you can drive your car onto, Borth y Gest, a small, pretty harbour village, Porthmadog once the busiest slate port in Wales now home to the Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Railway and Criccieth with its sand and shingle beach and ruined castle overlooking the town.
  • Magnificent scenery of Cardigan Bay, Snowdonia and the Lleyn Peninsula all wait to be discovered and are within easy reach of this Wales farmhouse, scenic location.
