  • These wonderful heritage trains are found one at either end of Porthmadog town. Either choose a trrip to Blaenau Ffestiniog where you could visit the Llechedd Slate Caverns or a scenic trip through the Snowdonia countryside.

  • Shore fishing at Shell Island yields bass, flounder, dab, mackeral, whiting, gurnard and mullet on low or high tide. Do remember your fishing gear and favourite seafood recipes.

  • Keen walkers will enjoy the 3 mile, 11/2 hour Precipice Walk at Dolgellau. The views are stunning.
