Stroll around the village, visit the local pub (good food and wine), see the woodturners at work at Siop Fach, (lovely handmade furniture) sample an ‘ all day breakfast’ or afternoon tea at Stephanie’ s Tea Rooms and don’ t miss the grocery/Post Office stores!

Mathry, mid way between St Davids and Fishguard, is close to the Pembrokeshire National Park Coast Path - wonderful cliff top walking, bird watching, swimming, watersports, boat trips, seal, porpoise and dolphin spotting, hedgerows ablaze with wild flowers and a wonderful night sky for star gazing! There are 2 golf courses nearby both welcoming visitors, watch the weavers at work at MelinTregwnyt - famous for its beautiful Welsh woven cloth - try a gourmet take away from Cottage Caterers or eat at any of the excellent restaurants- Tides, Stone Hall (excellent French cuisine) or The Shed Bistro in Porthgain - all within a short drive of this classic Pembrokeshire stone cottage.
