Cosy Cottage close to Harbour

  • In a quiet lane just off the quaint old harbour of Lower Town, the cottage has been equipped with great care and furnished to a high standard in a welcoming modern style - wooden floors, comfortable furniture and bedrooms with exceptionally pretty bed linen.
  • The cottage is separated from its neighbour by an archway opening into a shared courtyard with steps leading to its own paved terrace - a lovely place for al-fresco eating.

  • Fishguard and Gwaun Valley
  • Lower Town, with its sheltered harbour where the Gwaun River flows into the sea, is ideal for boating enthusiasts and was the setting for the filming of ‘ Moby Dick’ and Dylan Thomas’ s ‘ Under Milk Wood’ .
  • The ancient Ship Inn, a short stroll away from the cottage, was a favourite with Richard Burton during filming and is popular with locals and holidaymakers alike, particularly the weekly quiz!
  • Take a day trip to Ireland (daily ferry from nearby Goodwick), stroll around the busy little market town of Fishguard - lots of places to eat, cinema and individual shops.
  • Newport is an interesting sea-side village a short drive away - good restaurants, golf club, yacht club, art and craft galleries and a natural healthcare healing centre.
  • Wonderful coastal walking, scores of sandy coves and beaches along the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path to explore and the mystical Gwaun Valley leading into the Preseli Hills - peace, serenity and wonderful panoramic landscapes all within easy reach from this cosy holiday house, Wales.

    3 Bedrooms sleeping maximum of 6 adults and 2 children.  1 double with shower room en-suite (double shower, washbasin and toilet), tv/dvd.   1 twin with 2 pull-out children’s beds, 1 double.  Bedlinen provided.
    Bathroom with toilet, washbasin and bath with hand held shower.  All on 1st floor.
    Cloakroom with washbasin and toilet on ground floor.
