  • This is a children’ s paradise of more than 3 acres of gardens to explore and play in with majestic trees and a huge variety of shrubs.
  • The retreat/dining room has a huge curved sofa and handsome inglenook fireplace with log burning stove - warm and cosy in winter months. The rectangular dining table has comfortable leather backed chairs. The spacious main sitting room has comfortable leather sofas and chairs and a large bay window with excellent views of the lovely mature gardens.
  • Four spacious bedrooms, bright, airy and comfortably furnished are relaxing and restful.

  • Two lovely beaches are only a short walk away - the stunning sweep of golden sands at Harlech reached through a National Trust field and down a cliff path and the smaller Llandanwg set beyond sand dunes with its excellent café.
Snowdonia
  • Beautiful valleys, ancient woodland, lakes and meandering rivers and breathtaking views of the coast and Snowdonia in the countryside behind Portmeirion and the famous Ffestinniog Railway and Dolgellau, the old county town, has lots of interesting 16th-18th century architecture and quirky little streets

New Welsh Highland Railway & Fishing
  • In July 2009 the new route from Caernarfon to Hafod y Llyn opened taking trains through the Welsh mountains. By Easter 2010 a further stretch will open with the line reaching beyond Beddgelert through the Aberglaslyn Pass to Porthmadog Harbour.
  • Keen fisherfolk can buy day, week and season tickets from Blaenau Ffestiniog for game fishing lakes and rivers.
Precipice Walk, Dolgellau
  • This 3 mile walk takes about one and a half hours and is suitable for families. It offers stunning views of the Mawddach estuary and Snowdonia.
Plas Brondanw Gardens, Garreg
  • Clough Williams-Ellis' gardens at Plas Brondanw are considered to be his most important creation. He was devoted to them for his entire life.
  • There is much to enjoy near this large holiday cottage near Harlech.
ACCOMMODATION: 4 Bedrooms sleeping a maximum of 8/10 plus cot, folding bed and external bunkhouse (not suitable for winter use) with bunk beds. 1 twin ensuite, (toilet, washbasin, bidet, bath with shower over), easy chairs, tv, dressing room with vanity basin, 2 doubles (one with easy chair and tv) all on 1st floor – lovely views of garden. 1 double on ground floor.
