Large holiday cottage surrounded by lovely mature landscaped gardens - a place of great natural beauty with sloping lawns, lots of seating areas and views to Shell Island and the sea.

This is a children’ s paradise of more than 3 acres of gardens to explore and play in with majestic trees and a huge variety of shrubs.

An exceptional home - winner of a Snowdonia National Park Award in the 70’ s for its architectural restoration - the lounge has a wall to wall bay window with seats overlooking the garden.

Two lovely beaches are only a short walk away - the stunning sweep of golden sands at Harlech reached through a National Trust field and down a cliff path and the smaller Llandanwg set beyond sand dunes with its excellent café.

Beautiful valleys, ancient woodland, lakes and meandering rivers and breathtaking views of the coast and Snowdonia in the countryside behind Portmeirion and the famous Ffestinniog Railway and Dolgellau, the old county town, has lots of interesting 16th-18th century architecture and quirky little streets

Lots of places to eat and drink in Harlech and Llanbedr - for a treat try the Castle Cottage Hotel or the Penhelig Hotel in Aberdoveyan easy drive from this large holiday cottage.

ACCOMMODATION:

4 Bedrooms sleeping a maximum of 8/10 plus cot, folding bed and external bunkhouse (not suitable for winter use) with bunk beds. 1 twin ensuite, (toilet, washbasin, bidet, bath with shower over), easy chairs, tv, dressing room with vanity basin,
2 doubles (one with easy chair and tv) all on 1^st floor – lovely views of garden. 1 double on ground floor.
Bedlinen provided.

Kitchen luxury, fully fitted with range style gas cooker, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer.

Dining Room/Retreat thick stone walls, tiny windows and large inglenook with woodburning stove, occasional seating, dining table seating 8, tv. Highchair.
Lounge wall to wall bay window with window seats overlooking garden – glimpses of Shell Island and Cardigan Bay, leather suite with 2 sofas, easy chair, Freeview tv.
Grounds 3 acres with paved patios, steps to different areas, large sloping lawns, mature trees, shrubs, 2 landscaped fields. Not enclosed, care with toddlers please. Garden furniture and summerhouse.
Playroom above garage with table tennis table. Pool table in garage.
Fuel gas central heating inclusive May – September, £25 per week outside these dates.
