  • A private road leads down to a quiet, remote beach from this unique, large house, sleeping 13 - ideal for family and friends during school holidays. (Outside these dates it is let as 2 totally independent cottages - Bodlasan House Property Ref 968 and Bodlasan Cottage Property Ref 969)
  • The galleried sitting room is comfortably appointed with a wood burning style electric stove and deep sofas.
  • A light and airy conservatory makes full advantage of the coastal aspect.
  • Comfortable and well appointed and in a lovely location which enjoys exceptional weather conditions - often basking in the sun while mainland Wales is wreathed in clouds.
Anglesey and Snowdonia
  • Superb all-round views to Snowdon and the mountains of the Lleyn peninsula, the sea, Holyhead Mountain and with glimpses of the Alaw Estuary a short walk away - a haven for wild life - as is Gogarth Bay, between the North and South Stack Cliffs. Puffins, Guillemots, a profusion of seabirds and even falcons can all be viewed from the RSPB Centre.
  • Explore Anglesey’ s beautiful rugged coastline on foot along the recently opened Anglesey Heritage Coastal Path.
  • The bay and nearby Inland Sea offer superb safe windsurfing, canoeing and sailing conditions for both novice and experienced alike.
  • Llanfachraeth is a small, sleepy village 1 mile from Bodlasan where there is a shop and Post Office.
Lobster Pot & Trearddur Bay Hotel Restaurants
  • Trearddur Bay, a short drive away, is a popular seaside town with large sandy beaches, clear water and safe bathing. Trearddur Bay Hotel has an excellent reputation for fine food and wines and the famous Lobster Pot Restaurant nearby is highly recommended - booking advisable at both.
Golf
  • Holyhead has three golf courses, and there is horse riding, fishing (sea and freshwater), and cycling on Anglesey’ s network of rural cycle paths.
Day trips to Ireland
  • Why not take trip to Ireland - the ferry leaves Holyhead daily - and enjoy Dublin’ s sophisticated cafes and bars or a guided tour round James Joyce’ s Dublin?
Plas Newydd National Trust
  • A splendid waterside country house with beautiful gardens. The largest collection of Whistlers paintings can be seen here also a military museum with relics from the battle of Waterloo.
Shore Fishing at Dinas Dinlle
  • Fish for bass, codling, flounder and smooth hound on any state of the tide. Fishing is particularly successful during and after westerly and south westerly winds. Remember your favourite seafood recipes.
Walk up Bodafan Mountain
  • Geographically Bodafan is actually a hill but it is the highest point on Anglesey. Fit walkers will enjoy the walk through pine forest & heathland up to the peak Yr Arwydd (The Signal). There is a small lake, a reservoir 3 springs and an iron age earth work to explore.
Rock & Sea Adventures, Moelfre & Llynnon Mill, Llanddeusant
  • Enjoy an exhilerating adventure in the safe hands of Olly Sanders a highly experienced and respected expedition explorer.
Llynnon Mill
  • The only working windmill in Wales and known as the granary of Wales due to the large quantities of barley and oats once grown there. Now the mill is an agricultural museum and produces stoneground wholemeal flour using organic wheat.

1 bedroom with king size four poster profiling bed (off galleried sitting room), 1 bedroom with king size bed, 1 double, 2 twins, 1 single, all on 1st floor, 1 double on ground floor.
Bedlinen provided. Towels at £3.00 per person.
