  • Llangorse Lake view holiday cottage with fantastic panoramic views over Llangorse Lake (SSSI), with its beautiful backdrop of the Brecon Beacons National Park, from the 1st floor sitting room of this comfortable former farmhouse.
  • In a unique elevated position on a working farm, this newly refurbished house, furnished with a mixture of antique and modern pieces, has wooden floors, low beams, lots of period features and a wood burning stove in the sitting room.
  • Welsh Cobs are bred on the farm and you can watch the owner, a farrier, at work and there is stabling available for 2 horses if you wish to bring your own.

  • Lots of activities for all - the Brecon Beacons Nationsl Park is a birdwatcher and walkers paradise and there is fishing, sailing, canoeing, rowing and windsurfing. At the Rope Centre (less than 1/2m away) there is indoor climbing, abseiling and the truly thrilling Sky Trek - zip through the canopy of the wooded hillside on wires of up to 100ft!
  • There is horse riding through gentle valleys or onto open hills - the Llangorse Riding Centre has horses to hire to suit novices and experts alike.
  • Llangorse village has 2 pubs and a post office and nearby Brecon, popular all year round, bursts into life during the Jazz Festival in August.
  • Hay on Wye is a haven for book lovers, (34 second-hand book shops) and is host to the world renowned annual Literary Festival in early summer.
  • Abergavenny, a 20 minute drive, has an annual food festival and nearby Crickhowell is a pretty riverside village and do try a leisurely trip on the local canal, there is lots to discover within an easy drive of this Llangorse Lake view holiday cottage.

    Bathroom with toilet, washbasin and bath with hand held shower over on 1st floor.
    Kitchen/Dining Room on ground floor, spacious farmhouse style kitchen with Lake views, period features, electric split level cooker and hob, microwave, fridge with ice box, dishwasher, washing machine. Highchair on request.
    Sitting Room on 2nd floor, spacious beamed room with stone fireplace and wood burning stove, tv/video, cd/radio, stunning Lake and Mountain views.
    Fuel oil central heating and logs inclusive.
    Grounds enclosed medium size with shrubs and a fenced pond.
