Solva Valley holiday cottage
  • Lovely rural views over the wooded slopes of the Solva River Valley from this cottage.
  • Attached to, but completely independent of Upper Green Ref 297- each with their own separate garden and entrance.
  • Above the tiny hamlet of Middle Mill, the cottage is warm and cosy with a woodburning stove in the sitting room and a sun- room opening onto the sheltered terrace and garden - a suntrap all year round.
  • This lush, small, deep valley, gouged out by melting glaciers, has its own microclimate - sheltered, warm and almost sub-tropical, with kiwi plants growing in the garden.
  • Solva Woollen Mill on the valley floor is a working mill, one of only 2 left in Pembrokeshire, and produces fine woollen goods.
Solva harbour and village
  • Solva, a small, quaint village with picturesque cottages and sandy harbour is a very short drive - galleries, craft and gift shops, pubs and good restaurants - The Old Pharmacy ('Which' Good Food Guide) serves excellent local produce and Window on Wales is a shop with something for everyone.
Pembrokeshire Coastal Path near Solva valley cottage
  • Lots of activities nearby - explore the riverside walk, learn to sail at Solva Sailboats, enjoy glorious coastal walks, try surfing at Newgale, take a boat ride around the bird islands from St Justinians and spot dolphins, porpoise and even the occasional Blue Whale.
St Davids & Cathedral
  • Visit St Davids with its magnificent medieval Cathedral and Refectory, (licensed refreshments for pilgrims), or just relax and enjoy wonderful pure air, peace and tranquillity in this Solva Valley holiday cottage.
Red Heron Guided Tours & The Dingle Garden, Crundale
  • Do book a Red Heron Guided Tour with a specialist in conservation on Skomer Island or Pembrokeshire countryside and wildlife. The guide will be happy to tailor make the walk to suit your group.
  • The Dingle is a real treat for keen gardeners. An informal setting with a variety of rare plants and 150 old fashioned roses at its centre.
Priskilly Golf Club
  • Located at Castlemorris this challenging 9 hole course is set in mature parkland with panoramic views. After your game do drive on to Letterston and try a meal at the award winning fish & chip restaurant 'Something's Cooking'.
Shore Fishing Pembrokeshire
  • The rocks and beaches of Newgale and St Davids Peninsula are arguably some of the best in Wales for shore fishing summer and winter.

Sun Room large sofa, occasional chairs, tv/dvd, terracotta tiled floor with rugs, French doors to terrace, decked area and garden. (4 steps from terrace to decked area, 10 steps down to partly sloping lawn)
Sitting Room 2 x 2 seater sofas, wood/multifuel stove, views over valley.
Fuel oil central heating inclusive May – September £25 per week outside these dates.
Grounds sheltered south facing patio, decked area with alfresco dining table and chairs. Brick-built barbecue, partly sloping lawn.
Private Parking for 1 large or 2 small cars. Please note there are 15 steps down from parking area to cottage door.
