  • Recently renovated this cosy cottage is a world away from the strains and stresses of modern living and has stylish seating, a beautiful large inglenook with woodburning stove, ancient stone flagged floors, scatter rugs and a luxury fitted country kitchen.   • Cwm Pennant is a delight - high slopes blend into wooded hillsides, a meandering river winds through small fields dotted with farmhouses and an ancient Church - peace and tranquillity any time of the year.
  • Enjoy absolute freedom away from the clutter of city life in this beautiful valley - a most special and adventurous place for children (and grown-ups too!) to explore.
  • Lots of natural wildlife literally on your doorstep - foxes, badgers and various birds of prey.

  • Porthmadog with the Ffestiniog Narrow Gauge Railway, Portmeirion, Black Rock Sands, the beautiful little coves at Borth y Gest, and Criccieth with its 2 lovely beaches, pretty shops and good eateries are all nearby.
  • Beddgelert, at the foot of Snowdon, is a short drive away along the Glaslyn Estuary - do visit the RSPB Viewing Centre on the River where Ospreys have recently started to nest.
  • Above Beddgelert there are 2 beautiful lakes and a viewing centre overlooking the lovely Gwynant Valley and towards the peaks of Snowdonia.
  • The famous Pen y Gwryd Hotel near Beddgelert was the training base for the first Himalayan expedition to conquer Everest in 1953 - lots of team memorabilia.

  • ACCOMMODATION:

    2 Bedrooms sleeping a maximum of 4, plus cot.  1 kingsize, 1 twin, both on 1st floor.
    Bedlinen provided.
    Bathroom on 1st floor rolltop bath with hand held shower, toilet and washbasin.
    Kitchen luxury country style with split level electric hob and oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine. Table and chairs seating 4.  Highchair.
    Lounge large inglenook with wood burning stove, 3 piece suite, tv/dvd/radio, ancient stone flags with scatter rugs, stairs to 1st floor.
    Fuel oil central heating inclusive May/October, £20 per week outside these dates. Starter pack of logs.
    Grounds small enclosed garden with furniture and barbecue. Toddlers and dogs must be kept in the enclosed area  and please supervise children unless they are old enough to be independent.  Grown ups and older children will enjoy exploring the owners fields and hillsides.
