Pembrokeshire Coastal National Park country cottage for 2 near Porthgain & Abereiddy. Bright & comfy, this detached cottage was once a dairy and dates back in parts to circa 1760. Nestling at the end of a 150 yd track alongside the owner’ s small farmhouse the double aspect living room on the 1st floor has countryside views – watch badgers and foxes foraging and spectacular Pembrokeshire sunsets. A small sun-room on the ground floor opens onto a little patio – ideal for outdoor eating. Croesgoch, a tiny hamlet 1 mile away, has a village pub serving food, an artist’ s gallery, (John Knapp Fisher), local school and post office. St Davids is 7 miles away and 10 miles in the opposite direction is the sea-ferry port near the small market town of Fishguard - why not take a day trip to Ireland?

Breath-taking coastal scenery of the St Davids Peninsula and the 186 mile long Coastal Path can be joined at Porthgain. This small working harbour has the renowned Sloop Inn for bar food or the award winning Shed Bistro which specialises in local produce.caught and prepared crab and lobster (in season) can also be bought in the village and the art gallery with resident artist has an exhibition of delightful pictures of the area for purchase. Open-plan Living Room/Kitchen on first floor. Living room with pine table and chairs for 3, country cottage sofa and occasional chair, tv/video, radio/cd player. Well stocked-bookcase.
Kitchen with electric hob, fan-assisted electric oven with grill, microwave, fridge/freezer.
Fuel electric heating throughout inclusive May-September £15 per week outside these dates.
Grounds small patio and enclosed garden with garden furniture and barbecue Freedom of the owners large wildlife garden – care with pets please, there may be livestock nearby.
Parking for 1 car.
Welcome FREE 1 well behaved medium sized dog, 2nd dog at £15 per week.
