Free standing totally independant cottage in a peaceful French style courtyard setting near Harlech in the heart of Snowdonia National Park. High open beamed ceiling and large stone fireplace with woodburning stove in the sitting room, thick stone walls and views across fields and woodlands from the bedrooms - an ideal cottage in which to unwind in complete privacy. The comfortably furnished sitting room has generous sofas, arm chairs, an elegant antique couch, charming period wall clock and a log burning stove. Warm and cosy on winter days. Bedrooms are light and airy with lovely garden views.
Cwm Bychan & Cwm Nantcol
Set at the entrance to two enchanting valleys, Cwm Bychan, with its tranquil lake leads to the Roman Steps, a Roman paved pack-horse way and from the second Cwm Nantcol, rise the peaks of Rhinog Fawr and Rhinog Fach.
Harlech, Snowdonia, Shell Island & Beaches
Harlech, dominated by its medieval castle overlooking the sea, is framed by the Rhinog mountains. It’ s long golden sweeping beach has sheltered bathing, and there are steep winding streets with traditional Welsh architecture, good restaurants, pubs and interesting shops, cash point, bank, internet cafe, chemist, post office, small supermarket and a filling station. Why not enjoy a night out at Theatre Ardudwy which hosts an impressive programme of films, exhibitions, concerts and plays throughout the year. For beach lovers there are lots of lovely completely unspoilt beaches to discover including Shell Island (lots of interesting shells to collect) and Llandanwg with its Celtic Church hidden in the dunes.
Gentle Rambles & Woodland Walks
Lots of gentle rambles and woodland walks just above the cottage – the waterfall and nature trail is very special and there are fabulous views from the plateau above the waterfall across to Shell Island, Tremadog Bay and Lleyn Peninsula.
Royal St Davids Golf Course Harlech
Golfers will enjoy Harlech’ s Royal St Davids Link Golf Course, for fishermen there is river, stream and lake fishing and the Children’ s Farm Park and Slate Caverns is a working farm where baby animals can be fed and old mine workings to explore.
Fairbourne Railway & Porthmadog Maritime Museum
Pay once and ride all day on this 1895 railway from Fairbourne to Barmouth. Porthmadog Maritime Musem tells the fascinating stories of world class topsail schooners and other vessels.
Bryn Hir Arms & Precipice Walk Dolgellau
The 3 mile precipice walk takes about one and a half hours and is suitable for families. It offers stunning views of the Mawddach estuary and Snowdonia. The Bryn Hir Arms in Criccieth has a basement bistro and beer garden serving good 'pub grub' every day from 12 - 9.30.

Kitchen fully fitted with electric oven and hob, microwave, larder fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, table and chairs seating 7.
