- Enjoy family meals in the contemporary black and white fully fitted kitchen and more formal meals in the pleasant dining room with coastal views.
- Safe enclosed garden and decked patio area - superb views extending from Abercastle across to Abermawr and Aberbach - occasionally even the Wicklow Mountains can be seen across the Irish Sea!

- Short breaks possible. Please phone for availability and price.
- A ‘ green lane’ from behind the cottage meanders down to Abermawr (1.5m) and there are lots of country lanes winding down to the coast to explore, either on foot or bicycle, as well as the wonderful walking on the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path with hidden coves and secret beaches to enchant.
- Mathry has changed very little over the last 70 years - I should know - I went there for my holidays during WW2 (early 40's)! There is a school, Church, wood turners workshop and a friendly pub serving food.
- Priskilly Golf Course (beginners welcome) is a short drive away as is the working woollen mill at Tregwynt.
- St Davids with its medieval Cathedral, fabulous Whitesands Beach and sheltered Caerfai Bay are all within an easy drive.
- Fishguard, a small bustling market town - the daily ferry to Ireland leaves from nearby Goodwick - is a short car journey of this West Wales holiday home with magnificent panoramic views.
- Pamper yourself with a half or full day package of relaxing spa treatments and revitalising luxury.
- The Stena Line ferries sail daily from Fishguard Harbour to Rosslare in Ireland on day trips. Travel as a foot passenger and take advantage of the bus & coach service waiting at the Irish ferry terminal or take your own car.
- The Farmers Arms is a charming traditional ivy clad village pub serving good food and real ales. Special events include the 'Credit Crunch Lunch' on Fridays, live music nights, quiz nights and special occasion celebrations such as St Davids Day suppers and Valentines Day dinners.
- The circular walk starting at Caerfai reaching Whitesands and back to Caerfai is a circular 9 mile relatively level walk with wonderful coastal and countryside views.
- Whatever the weather this is a great activity for the whole family. Indoor karting on an all weather track for family fun and competitive racing. Drivers must be 8 years and older.
- Call in at Tir a Mor for all your photographic needs. Stock includes extensive range of digital cameras, memory cards, binoculars, and spotting scopes as well as O.S. maps.
- There is much to enjoy near this west Wales holiday home in Mathry. Don't miss the hinterland of the Preseli Hills a totally contrasting landscape compared with the coastline yet all part of the Pembrokeshire National Park.
