Accommodation Details:

Galleried Bedroom sleeping 2 with double bed, small dorma windows

Ground Floor Open Plan. Kitchen area: electric cooker, microwave, fridge with ice box, automatic washing machine, curtained shelves. Sitting/Dining area, 2 seater sofa, easy chair, tv, dining table and 2 chairs, spiral staircase to galleried bedroom, large picture window.

Veranda table and chairs, lovely views.

Bathroom on ground floor, corner bath, toilet, washbasin.

Fuel oil central heating £10 per week October to March inclusive outside these dates.

Grounds garden area adjacent to cottage with grass covered banks and shrubs; covered sitting area on veranda with magnificent views over the Dee Valley and owner’s field .

Parking for 2 cars.

Welcome FREE 2 Dogs – (Sorry no Alsatians, Dobermans or Rottweilers).

  • Set on a hillside above the River Dee in the beautiful Vale of Ederynion, the eastern gateway to Snowdonia National Park, this little cottage, modestly but comfortably furnished, has been converted from an ancient barn and the galleried bedroom is reached via a spiral staircase from the sitting/dining room.
  • Interesting and characterful features include exposed beams, high sloping ceilings, skylight windows and handsome exposed window lintel beams
  • French doors open onto a long front veranda - perfect for relaxing on and enjoying the glorious scenery of this peaceful, quiet valley.

  • Picturesque Bala with its 4 x 1 mile lake famously deep and clear and delightful lakeside railway is just 7 miles away and has a good range of local amenities including interesting individual shops, supermarket, post office, bank, internet cafe, doctors surgery, vet and a filling station. A Farmers Market selling excellent local produce is held on the 1st Sunday of each month at Rhyd Estate 7 miles away from Bala on the A5.

  • Lovely walking country with pretty villages, hidden haunts and good eateries to discover - day licences for fishing can be obtained locally.
