3 Bedrooms sleeping a maximum of 6 including pull out bed. 1 double bedroom with en suite (shower cubicle, toilet and washbasin) 1 double and 1 single with additional pull out bed all on 1st floor.
Bedlinen provided.
Bathroom on 1st floor with bath and shower over, toilet and washbasin.
Kitchen luxury white fitted units, split level electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher, microwave, larder fridge.

Lounge/Dining Room open plan with sandstone fireplace (not in use) with wood-burning style electric fire, 2 x 3 seater sofas, antique easy chair and matching footstool, additional easy chair. About this cottage:
- This delightful home has been cleverly designed to maximize the enjoyment of the views with patio doors leading out onto the balcony decking which overlooks a peaceful, pastoral landscape of high rolling hills, sheep dotted fields and woodlands.
- The ‘L’ shaped living/dining room is stylishly furnished with comfortable cream sofas, fine antique furniture and bucolic water colours.
- There is a spacious kitchen and the 1st floor bedrooms are delightfully furnished with beautiful bedding, vibrant cushions and pretty ornaments all adding to the character of the house.
- Set in an attractive executive housing development on a hillside just above the ancient town of Dolgellau at the foothills of Cader Idris – a magnificent area of high mountains, deep ravines and the glorious Mawddach Estuary.
- The town centre is only a short walk away (0.5m down the hillside) and is full of Georgian and Victorian homes and shops – 200 of which are listed buildings - enjoy coffee and cake in the newly restored Victorian Emporium, browse the shops and eat in the numerous pubs and cafes. Try prize winning bread at the baker’s shop and locally sourced meat at the butchers.
- view the wonderful sunrise over the Pembrokeshire national park coastline. Allow at least two hours or just stay all day to explore the seven acres of displays. Friendly knowledgeable staff are on hand to help you.
- Fairbourne and Barmouth with their lovely unspoilt beaches are only 8 miles away.
- The shoreline from Barmouth to Shell Island has miles of uninterrupted sandy coastline accessed at various points along the way - totally unspoilt and peaceful with a backdrop of mountains and valleys – who could ask for anything more!
- Pay once and ride all day on this thrilling 1895 steam train. It will take you from Fairbourne to Mawddach where you can get on a ferry to Barmouth
- This is marvellous walking country from the slopes of Cader Idris to the Mawddach Trail along the estuary, all unique and inspirational. Visit Coed y Brenin Forest nearby, fun for all the family with walks and world class mountain bike trails and golfers will appreciate the 2 championship courses a short drive away at Harlech and Aberdyfi.
- Machynlleth with its Clock Tower is a small ancient market town in the Dyfi Valley – once the seat of Owain Glyndwr’s Welsh Parliament - with interesting shops, a weekly Wednesday market, a variety of places to eat and drink and the Wales Museum of Modern Art – performances and talks on market days.
- The Centre for Alternative Technology (or CATS) provides a fascinating insight into sustainable living and its visitor centre is open 7 days a week - a great family day out with 7 acres of interactive displays, organic gardens, café, shop and adventure playground.
- Take a delightful trip on this historic narrow gauge railway through beautiful mid Wales countryside beside the Dolgoch Falls and verdant forest.
