  • South Pembrokeshire’s fabled beaches and glorious coast are all within an easy drive of this detached home which has panoramic views across corn fields towards the Cleddau River in the distance.
  • Well furnished and equipped throughout, the sitting room has a feature window in the gable end with French doors opening onto the front patio and garden. There is a log burning stove, ‘A’ frame high beamed ceiling and the unexpected feature of a pool table – great for children of all ages!
  • There is large bright, airy kitchen/diner and a spacious hall which is overlooked by a galleried landing.. The ground floor twin bedroom has a wet room adjacent and there are 3 bedrooms on the 1st floor – 1 en-suite.
  • The caring owner lives in a small 1 bedroom cottage at the rear of the house which has its own entrance, parking and garden.
  • The Paddock sits on the brow of a hill on the outskirts of the pleasant riverside village of Burton - where there is a landing pontoon in the summer - there are lots of tranquil country and riverside walks close by.

  • Good eating places locally include the popular waterside inn ‘The Jolly Sailor ‘ (10 min walk) with a riverside beer garden and an extensive menu. Within a 2 minute walk is the Stable Inn – good food and drink and The Beggars Reach Hotel with its elegant restaurant is a 2 minute drive away amidst tranquil countryside.
 
Pembrokeshire Coastal Path
  • The Pembrokeshire Coastal Path is nearby - wonderful walks, coastal scenery and ever-changing wild flowers, bird and marine life according to the season.
 
Neyland Marina & Cycle Track
  • Fantastic boat trips to the offshore islands depart from Neyland Marina where there is also Brunels Nature Reserve and Cycle Track.
  • Enjoy leisurely refreshments at the café and bar which overlook the marina with its fascinating array of sailing yachts.
 
Llangwm
  • Llangwm is an old fishing village which has a landing slip at Black Tar for small boats and hosts an annual Scarecrow Festival. Hook is north of Llangwm and is bordered by Little Milford Woods (N.T.) which cover the high banks of the Western Cleddau – superb scenery and waterside walks.
 
Pembroke
  • Pembroke is a small fascinating town with a wonderfully preserved medieval castle (birthplace of Henry VII) and lots of outdoor events are held here during the summer months. There are narrow alleyways to explore, small, individual shops, antique centres, craft and art galleries and a variety of eating/drinking spots.
