Family room (king size bed) and 1 single with pull out bed and 1 twin on 2nd floor. 2 cots available on request.

About this cottage:
- An imposing Edwardian house set just on the fringes of the unique, bustling small seaside resort of Abersoch.
- Large and spacious interiors with an open plan ground floor, luxury kitchen and comfortable lounge. The dining area, opening out into a light airy conservatory, has huge brown leather sofas.
- The master bedroom has an en-suite with a freestanding bath and steam/massage shower with radio.
- Surrounded by a mature garden with decking, patio and barbecue, a small annexe has a games room - ideal for wet days with snooker table, table tennis, dart board, table football and there are 2 bicycles that guests are welcome to use.
- Abersoch, with its beautiful sandy bay is renowned for sailing and all watersports and with its cafes and restaurants spilling out on to the streets has all the atmosphere of a popular seaside resort with lots of cafes & restaurants spilling out onto the streets. Beautiful beaches abound including the Nattional Trust beach at Llanbedrog and only a short drive away is the spectacular bay of Porth Neigwl.
- Lots to see and do here – a walking festival in May, jazz festival in June, wakestock pop and watersports competions in July.
- For golfers there is Abersoch Golf Course (18 holes) in a superb setting amongst ancient sand dunes overlooking Abersoch Bay, a challenging championship course at Nefyn and nearby Pwllheli.
- Beautiful beaches abound including the National Trust beach at Llanbedrog and only a short drive away is the spectacular bay of Porth Neigwl.
- Join the Coastal Path to enjoy the splendours of the rugged coastline.
- The path goes inland briefly passing through the timeless little hamlets of Llanegan and Llangian with their country pubs and ancient churches - look out for the granite pillar with its Latin inscription in the graveyard.
- One of the leading sources of marine photography in the area. Prints,canvases, postcards, greeting cards, gift vouchers and sculptures all hand made and signed, for sale.
- If you are a jazz musician or jazz lover then book your holiday in June. The annual Jazz Festival is a wonderful event playing host to national and international artists. Buskers are welcome too. 2011's musical festivities will take place June 10th - 12th
- The only full time maker of Welsh clogs from the hide and log to the finished article. Trefor Owen makes clogs (not only Welsh) in many designs and colours for customers all over the country.
- Choose from any number of exciing activities. There is something for everyone to enjoy at Glasfryn from bowling, archery, quad bikes and fishing to karting, canoeing and shopping. There is even a Farmers Market held on the first Saturday of each month.
- Take a nostalgic and scenic train journey either up Snowdonia to the fascinating slate village of Blaenau Ffestiniog or through Snowdonia on a return journey visiting the engine sheds on route where enthusiasts can climb aboard the engines.
- Climbing upwards from the bay is Plas yn Rhiw (N.T.), a small Georgian manor house which preserves the memory of a way of life which has long disappeared from the Peninsula countryside. There are panoramic views from here of the Peninsula and the mountains of Snowdonia.
- The gardens are full of interesting flowering trees and shrubs and there are fabulous panoramic views of the Peninsula and the mountains of Snowdonia.
- Exhilerating riding for novice or experienced riders along a scenic headland 3 miles from Abersoch.
- Enjoy the coastline from the sea by taking a boat from Pwllheli or Aberdaron in the summer months. The most memorable trip is to Bardsey Island - watch the gulls dive bomb around you and look out for the colony of grey seals that swim in these waters.
- Bardsey Island is the burial place of 20 thousand saints (according to legend) and there are the ruins of a 13th Century Augustinian Priory here and a wildlife observatory – no cars, no pylons, no mobile phones just peace and quiet!
- A delightful day out whatever the weather. Many of the animals are housed in farm buildings. Children will love holding baby rabbits, guinea pigs and puppies. There is an outside play area and a picnic spot.
- Once boyhood home of the great 20th century statesman Lloyd George now a museum dedicated to his life and work including a collection of memorabillia and the first world war treaty.
- Copies of the book Criccieth A Heritage Walk can be bought at Tourist offices in Porthmadog and Pwllheli for less than £2. Walk around Criccieth exploring interesting historic sites on route.
- Lots to see and do close to this large Abersoch house, Lleyn Peninsula, Wales.
