Accommodation Details:
2 Bedrooms sleeping a maximum of 4 plus cot. 1 double (king size bed), 1 twin. Both on 1st floor.
Bedlinin provided.
Bathroom on ground floor with toilet, washbasin and bath with shower over.
Kitchen fully fitted with electric cooker, microwave, fridge, breakfast bar seating 2. Highchair.
Utility Room with freezer and washer/dryer.
Dining Room with dining suite seating 6, cd/mp3player/radio. Patio doors onto decked courtyard with seating.
Sitting Room with log burning stove, 3 x 2 seater sofas, 2 x arm chairstv/dvd, stairs to 1st floor.
Fuel oil central heating and logs inclusive May – September £20 per week outside these dates.
Grounds ‘secret’ enclosed garden reached by an open short footpath (50 yds), garden furniture.
Parking for 2 cars
No smoking in the cottage please.

About this cottage:
- Set beside a wooded glade at the edge of this small peaceful village, comfortable, stylishly furnished and decorated (one of a pair).
- Log burner in the cosy sitting room, wooden floorboards and furnished with a mixture of antique and modern furniture, the cottage has a pleasing, welcoming atmosphere with a detached garden.
- Pretty cottage bedrooms with painted latch doors and comfortable stylish furnishings
- Pembroke 4 miles away has a range of amenities including bank, post office, internet accesss in the library, supermarket, delicatessen, pubs, restaurants, fuel station, chemist, doctor, vet and a Saturday fortnightly Farmer's Market.
- Stackpole Estate, 2000 acres (National Trust) of outstanding natural beauty, part SSSI and part National Nature Reserve, is a spectacular landscape and coastline rich in wildlife - otters, wildfowl, cliff nesting seabirds- and is criss-crossed by footpaths linking lakes, woods, cliffs, sand dunes and limestone grassland - all within the protection of the Pembrokeshire National Park.
- Barafundle (15 mins walk) the ‘ jewel in the crown’ of Pembrokeshire’ s beaches and voted the best picnic spot in the UK in 2006 - golden sands lapped by clear, blue sea and ringed by dunes. Broad Haven South - superb, sheltered and overlooked by cliffs - popular for swimming and surfing - is reached by walking through the famous Bosherston Lily Ponds - a Monet watercolour in May or June - or a short drive by car.
- Lots to see or do - horse riding, mountain biking, coarse fishing, wonderful coastal and woodland walks - enjoy good food at the Stackpole Inn (200 yds - voted as serving the ‘ best pub food in Wales’ ) visit Stackpole Church, (famous for over 160 species of lichens found in its ancient Churchyard) or take tea at the National Trust Tea Rooms on Stackpole Quay.
- Magnificent Freshwater West beach was the chosen location for filming the Shell House scene from the Harry Potter story Deathly Hallows and the battle scene for Robin Hood. Freshwater East beach shouldn't be missed either. It's sandy beach is backed by dunes and is popular for surfing, wind surfing, sailing, fishing and swimming.
- The site owned by the Ministry of Defence is well used by climbers, walkers and other outdoor enthusiasts. Climbing routes have been put up along extensive parts of this coastline. Details can be found on notice boards in the car park.
- St Govan's Chapel is a tiny 13th C stone cell perched precariously at the base of the cliffs on St Govans Head built on the site of a 6th C hermitage.The adventurous can climb down the steep cliff steps from the coastal path to explore what once was the home of hermit monk St Govan.
- This is an easy 11 mile walk mostly flat all the way. It follows the course of the Milford Haven Waterway passing numerous esturine inlets and sheltered bays.
- Tenby with its monastic island of Caldey reached by regular boat trips is within an easy drive of this holiday cottage in Stackpole.
- An ancient bustling town with a variety of shops, excellent delicatessen, a choice of places to eat & drink, riverside walk and a magnificent castle. The castle in remarkable state of repair is a wonderful place to explore and enjoy picnics. Regular events are held there such as historic reinactments, falconry displays and music festivals.
- Little Wedlock Gallery in Gumfreston is run by mother and daughter Anne Gregson and Jo Davies. Their lively and varied work responds to the natural world and includes drawings, lino cuts, papier mache, water colours, oils, acrylic and silk.
- Experience the thrill of riding the waves. A ful range of surfing lessons and equipment hire are available Choose from a half day or full week of tuition.
