Why you love Forest Cottage
Even beyond expectation. Scenic beauty, wonderful birdsong, and tremendous tranquility. The perfect rest and relaxation following a traumatic year. Many thanks Peter and Margaret for allowing us to share in this fabulous cottage and your hospitality. We sincerely trust an opportunity to return will present itself in the not too distant future.

Back again for two weeks this time. What a lovely cottage, so peaceful. The bluetits and nuthatch never failed to come every day. The walks around here are amazing. Don't want to go home now. Thank you Peter and Margaret once again will definitely be back to stop in this amazing cottage.

Another lovely week here. This amazing peaceful retreat never fails to please! Lovely weather, so lazy days spent in the sunshine, reading under the tree, barbecues and long walks through the forest and of course sitting admiring the ever changing view (tractors out in force!). Found lovely walks at Wapely Hill Fort, on B4362 just outside Presteigne, lovely and shady with nice views from the top.l Think we will have a very depressed retriever tomorrow when she realises she doesn't actually live here! See you again soon.

Came to this beautiful cottage for a week and it has been just what we needed. So relaxing, beautiful views and plenty of wildlife to watch. Thank you for the wine and scones, a perfect welcome gift. Our 7 and 4 year olds spent hours exploring and our 2 dogs and had the time of their lives. Stunning views, plenty of sunshine peace and quiet = perfect holiday. We will definitely be coming back again.

A very lovely, tranquil spot. Very very peaceful with sheep, birds etc. Alfie loved running up the track every day. Weather good with only a little rain overnight and early morning. Quite a lot of sunshine. Cottage comfortable. Thank you for the wine scones & jam. Delicious.

We've had loads of opportunities to sit outside, drink in the lovely scenery and amazing wildlife and soak up the sun.The cottage is lovely and so comfortable. We're wishing we didn't have to leave. We shall definitely be back next year.Loved the bird feeding station right outside the patio doors. It has given us hours of pleasure. The peace and isolation were just what we needed after a few very busy months. Thanks again for everything the cottage is a treasure.
