About The Area
Beaches
  • Popular Red Wharf Bay is only 2 miles from the cottage and the resort of Benllech only 3 miles. Benllech has a long sandy beach with plenty of rock pools, perfect for swimming, windsurfing and sea fishing. Lovely views across to Penmon Point and in the distance the Great Orme in Llandudno.
  • Further along the coast, just beyond the delightful little fishing village of Moelfre, is Treath Lligwy another shallow sandy bay - great for small children who will enjoy pottering in the rock pools.
Coastal Path
  • The Coastal Path circles the coastline and is designated 'An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.' The path passes cliffs, sandy beaches, majestic woodlands, marshes and grasslands. Explore hidden coves and watch seals frolicking in the water's below.
