North Wales is a wonderful holiday destination for you and your pet or dogs offering lots of different terrain to explore. Not only are you in the ideal location to explore the mountains and lakes of Snowdonia National Park, but there are many other stunning areas where your dog can run free in the countryside. Conwy Valley offers a variety of dog-friendly footpaths which wind along the lush River Conwy or on the flat expansive uplands. If your pet loves to swim there are plenty of stick-throwing opportunities on many of the dog-friendly North Welsh beaches. There are number of attractions that welcome dogs including Great Orme Country Park, Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Railway and Trefriw woollen mill. In Llandudno the Victorian town walk along the tram ride up the Great Orme welcomes dogs on leads. The Kings Head is the oldest pub in Llandudno and is dog-friendly.
