Why you love Bodarfor (By The Sea)
Bodarfor has been ideal for us, very homely and comfortable and as we hoped in a great location in Aberdaron. We enjoyed getting to know the area better, so beautiful, and hope to come again. Everything you need for a lovely holiday, wish we could stay longer !
R family, Stafford
Our first time at “Bodarfor” having spent many summer holidays at Aberdaron. The house is ideal – location, comfort, clean (you would not know it is dog friendly) and we will return one day. Weather was mixed but our grand-daughters ( aged 8 and 12 ) went swimming most days in their wet-suits.

This is our fourth time staying at Bodarfor. Ideal base in a beautiful village. This is our favourite cottage to stay at in Aberdaron and we have stayed in a few ! We had two lovely meals in the Ty Newydd which has a good varied menu. Aberdaron has an amazing dog friendly beach and is great for the whole family. I recommend the ice cream / pizza shop at the back of the newsagents if you feel peckish whilst out on the beach. Amazing snacks at good fair prices and friendly service. Love coming to Aberdaron and love staying here at Bodarfor. Thanks again.
J family, Derbyshire
A lovely cottage – very comfortable and relaxing with all that is needed. The village of Aberdaron and the surrounding area are very beautiful and make for a really relaxing holiday in peaceful surroundings. We especially enjoyed bread and cakes from the bakers, and would recommend the fish and chip shop. Everyone is most friendly and welcoming. Thank you for a happy and relaxing week in this lovely blue and white cottage.
F & R , Monmouthshire
Our second time at Bodarfor and it still remains the cleanest, comfortable and most well equipped house that we have stayed in. We've had wonderful sunny weather apart from today (Friday) when it has rained. Our dog (Pearl) loves the beach and coastal path as we do. The house really is 'home from home' and this has been a most relaxing and enjoyable holiday in a lovely house. I'm sure we'll be back.
Grainger
We have all enjoyed our week in this lovely cottage. Walks on the beach every day and food / drink from the local pubs and shops – the bakery is particularly good. We only went out in the car once (to Abersoch) and spent the rest of the time in and around the village. The cottage is one of the best we have stayed in and is in a beautiful location. Everywhere seems to be dog friendly and Reilly has enjoyed his holiday. We look forward to returning, thank you.

Lovely homely feeling as soon as the front door was opened, a real credit to the owners and cleaner/caretaker. Fantastic coastal walks with amazing views. Aberdaron is a quaint village with everything a holiday maker requires. Bodarfor will certainly be recommended to family and friends - one of the best holiday cottages we have stayed in so far. and so says Honey as well!
Pete and Mandy Taylor & Honey the cockapoo
We have had a lovely stay in this beautiful cottage. We have loved being in Aberdaron with pubs, fish & chips shop, paper shop - all so handy. Beautifully clean, incredibly well equipped. Enjoyed so many beaches and walks around the stunning headland. We will be back.
