Located in south east Gower between Mumbles and Penmaen, Bishopston is probably the largest village on the Gower and within easy reach of Caswell Bay, Brandy Cove and Pwlldu Bay beaches as well as the coastal city of Swansea. The Plough and Harrow on Oldway is a popular multi award winning gastro pub and the pretty flower bedecked Joiners Arms on Bishopston Road serves it's own home brewed delicious real ales and food. The Lamp Lighter coffee shop also sells books cards and crafts. Holt Model Railway Shop has been established for 40 years and has an excellent reputation for its product knowledge extensive stock and good service. There is a convenience store in the centre of the village too.
