About Llandeilo Apartment
Llandeilo is a vibrant and ever-surprising county town. Nestled amongst the upmarket shops, galleries and bars you will find the smart designer chic Llandeilo Apartment.
  • The owners of the Llandeilo Apartment know a thing or two about design, formerly professional hoteliers, they have designed this delightful bolthole with comfort and style in mind.
  • At the bottom of a winding hill of neat Georgian houses, you will find the doorway to your holiday Apartment. Accessed via your own private stairway, Llandeilo Apartment is located on the first and second floors.
  • Enter this beautiful holiday apartment and the light and space within cannot but impress. Thoughtful touches such as bespoke designer lighting and uniquely commissioned furnishings with an obvious Welsh twist give this almost urban retreat the real wow factor.
  • Beyond the hall area is an open plan kitchen with a roomy dining table and views through the designer shutters to the grand old buildings of Llandeilo opposite. The kitchen is fully equipped, although cooking may not feature highly on your list of things to do here. Breakfast, afternoon tea with treats or even more excitingly, unique cocktails with bowls of nibbles and olives can be brought to your door from the owners' multi-award-winning deli and bar, Gin Haus Deli, just around the corner.
  • The lounge has an eclectic laid-back feel and sofas are large and sumptuous, perfect to kick back after long walks in the superb countryside which lie all around this hilltop town.
  • Upstairs, there are two generously sized bedrooms, one twin and one kingsize. They pay homage to the Welsh roots laid down here with purest wool blankets and the softest of sheepskins. The shared bathroom has a dazzlingly unique floor and a stunning stained glass window. Fluffy bathrobes are provided-naturally.
  • Whether you are looking for an uber-stylish apartment for two or a unique family base, Llandeilo Apartment really is a first class abode.

About The Area
Llandeilo Highlights
  • Right on the doorstep Llandeilo shops, galleries and cafes provide an eclectic mix.  The town is showered with awards for its innovative new shops.  Choose from Welsh designer jewellery, cutting-edge fashion and lifestyle at the flagship store Toast. Galleries are overflowing with the works of famous local artists and you can even buy Welsh award-winning chocolate at Heavenly - marvel at their stupendous world famous cakes (works of art in themselves!).
Events

Castles
  • There are 3 castles keeping watch over Llandeilo - Dinefwr, Carreg Cennen and Drysllyn Castle are within just 7 miles of one another.  It is possible to walk to them all in just one day.  If you strike out you could make it for lunch at Y Polyn close to Cerreg Cennen Castle - fabulous local food in modern surroundings.  Ease up after lunch and take the bus back to Llandeilo for a well-earned jar of local ale at one of the many traditional and vibrant pubs of the town, a warm welcome awaits.

Gardens nearby
  • Gelli Aur, the  'Golden Grove' spills out from the shore of Cennen River just below Llandeilo.  This fertile landscape is home to two famous Welsh gardens - Aberglasney 'The Garden Lost in Time', but now undergoing exciting renovation and The National Botanical Gardens of Wales which has a huge glass dome filled with plants from around the world which rival that of The Eden Project.
Brechfa
  • Brechfa Mountain Bike Trails offer all levels of off-road experiences in beautiful natural surroundings.

Beaches of Gower
  • Will a day at the seaside beckon you? If so, you will be overwhelmed with the choice of sandy pristine bays that await you on The Gower Peninsula, just 45 minutes away.  Boasting Britains First Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty it is the home to Rhossili Bay.  Consistently voted amongst the top 5 beaches in the world. The shear  size and beauty of this wild beach will take your breath away.  Call at The Bay Bistro to watch for seals and dolphins over a lingering lunch.  World class surf consistently flows here, equipment and tuition are available for all levels and age groups.
Mumbles
  • After a salty sea dog day on Gower head over to Mumbles for dinner with a view of the lighthouse at `Pierres Bistro or one of the many restaurants and bars of this quintessential seaside village.

Laugharne

Why you love Llandeilo Apartment
Great flat, lovely decor & some quirky features. Enjoyed the town with its independent shops with a good choice of cafes, food places to eat out. Great breakfast in the Ginhaus deli to start our days of adventures.
>br> Visited Dolaucothi Gold Mine, Henrhyd Falls (the highest in south Wales at 90', Dinefwr - castle, mill pond and deer park as well as Carreg Cennen castle. We also took a drive to the Gower Peninsula (Rhossili & Port Eynon).

Even Storm David didn't put a dampner on our fun. Our 5 year old loved the days out. He also enjoyed pizza and music in the Ginhaus deli on Sat night (while mummy and daddy had a cheeky gin).

Amazing time, will be back again.

Excellent flat, well appointed - the boys playing quick draw with the SMART TV who could link their phones in fastest .. a novelty.

Good location, fuelled by breakfast locally - so many good options, we sallied forth to storm castles, tackle gardens and build on beaches.

Lovely time had by the Smiths.

Wow! We love it here! What a fab, stylish, comfortable and cosy flat. We have enjoyed many walks with wonderful views, eating and drinking in the many coffee shops - our favourite has to be the Ginhaus deli - delicious food, lovely staff and quirky and stylish. We have purchased many goodies to take home. Thank you for a fab stay in lovely Llandeilo.
The Morris family
The apartment has been a home from home with everything we needed. We've had a wonderful summer holiday here in Llandeilo. We've all fallen in love with the apartment and the area. The apartment is stylish and cosy and the town is charming with many interesting shops.

There are so many fun days out to be had. We've had 4 generations staying this week and we've always found something great to do.

If you want a quiet beach, Poppit Sands on Cardigan Bay is great as it isn't commercial (only 1 hour away). For a challenging walk, Pen y Fan in the Brecon Beacons is 50 minutes away with great views. For something a little more relaxing - the walk around Llyn Brianne is beautiful.

Thanks for a great week. Will definitely recommend.
