Why you love Vrynylan
This house has a wonderful atmosphere appreciated and understood by all of us. It is a fine house with great heritage and all personal feelings about it will contribute to our memories. We are a family together of three generations and would be delighted if the babies would visit in future to appreciate what they had for a wonderful week when they were four years old and nine months respectively. We appreciate the welcome from Maurice and his support was instrumental in our enjoyment. Happy New Year to you all.
Simpsons & Clarksons
Downton Abbey times 2!! Thanks to the lovely Maurice and Quality Cottages for always offering the most amazing places. Lynne (Lady Mary), Pat (Lady Edith), Moe (Lady Sybil), Mama (Dowager Countess) & Dad (Lord Grantham) and of course Paul (Darling Matthew) & the cherubs Master Oscar & Master Laus
Downton Abbey times 2!!
Thank you for sharing this truly wonderful house with us again. We've loved it! The children have enjoyed exploring the gardens and we took a walk along the river to look for good fishing spots for when we come back in summer! The weather has been kind to us, so much so we visited Pembrey Country Park twice to try out the tobogganing and dry slope skiing, as well as some bracing walks amongst the dunes and along the beach. Nothing beats a welcome log fire and a glass of wine or two after all that activity!
Ansty & Monrow families, London & New Quay
Had a wonderful time staying in such a fascinating house. Children had a great time playing in the garden, playing sports and devizing treasure hunts. Big hits were play house, croquet, children's snug (video), and interesting objects around the house.
Daughton family
What a fantastic house in amazing grounds. We truly felt priviliged to stay here. Plenty of space, the children enjoyed playing hide and seek, both indoors and out. Plenty of bathrooms. We had a great mini break with glorious weather. P.S. Sam said the piano was great.
Martins, Elstars & Oakleys
Amazing weather -2 X beach trips; raft building; stone skimming; rounders; dressing up in fabulous hats and trip to Botanic Gardens. Three Cliffs Bay and Tenby beaches well worth a visit. Great family reunion with Granny. Birthday celebrations culminating in fantastic meal and Pictionary.
Stamforths, Trundles & Gingers
Fantastic week. House, garden, tree house, barbecue, fields, river, all wonderful. All so calm and peaceful even our boys slept better than usual. Thank you very much to Maurice too for advice & recommendations. Great place for all the family to be together, gathered from Chesterfield, Pinner, Newcastle and Paris. Loved the house and the area – both in sunshine and in rain. Thank you.
Graeme & Tess King, Newcastle
Lovely house, beautiful garden and fun at the river! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The bird songs in the morning will be missed. P.S. Who ever reads this, owl spotting near the river is a MUST (the squeaks noises are owls not rats) We hope you enjoy Vrynylan as much as us.
