Cresswell Quay cottages, in the heart of the tranquil Pembrokeshire countryside. This beautifully unspoilt and sleepy hamlet lies by the Cresswell River and is roughly 4 miles away from the local town of Pembroke. The wildlife along this tidal river is a birdwatcher's paradise, and from Cresswell Quay you can take a peaceful stroll through the ancient oak woodland and down along the river bank. Cresswell Quay is also within driving distance of all the glorious sandy beaches that the South Pembrokeshire coast has to offer- including Freshwater west, Broadhaven, Barafundle Bay, Swan Lake and Manorbier. The local pub, The Cresselly Arms is regarded as one of the best old fashioned ale-houses in Pembrokeshire. There is no food served (except the occasional hog roast or bbq in the summer months), but its well worth a visit simply to experience the satisfaction of sipping a beer, poured straight from the barrel to a jug, whilst enjoying the views from the beer garden across the bay. Our traditional, unique and lovingly refurbished cottages near Cresswell Quay offer the perfect place to relax, whilst enjoying all that this wonderful tranquil area of South Pembrokeshire has to offer.
