  • Relax in the pretty south facing front garden with its rose/lavender hedge - the private rear garden is bordered by a small stream - do take care with small children please.
  • Seaspray Cottage was once home to celebrated local hero William Morgan. On a dark windswept night in 1920 he rescued the captain and chief officer of the Dutch sailing schooner 'Hermina'. Read his remarkable story .

All Wales Coastal Path & Pembrokeshire Coastal Path

  •  A footpath from the cottage leads to the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path (part of the All Wales Coastal Path) and National Trust headland - spectacular scenery and glorious sunsets, ponies and cattle graze the cliffs during the summer and winter, a wondrous variety of wild flowers in the spring, fabulous sea bird and marine life - seals with their pups make their home at the foot of the cliffs in the autumn.

  • This hamlet with its picturesque quay and harbour is a short walk away along the spectacular coastal path or a 5 minute drive.
  • Enjoy a drink at the ancient local pub - The Ship, popular with locals and visitors alike - and frequented by both Richard Burton and Gregory Peck during the filming of Under Milk Wood and Moby Dick, both of which classics were filmed in this pretty harbour.
Last Invasion Tapestry, Fishguard Town Hall
  • The remarkable and internationally famous Last Invasion Tapestry took a group of local people over four years to complete. It is 30.4 metres long and displayed in a purpose built gallery in the town hall. The tapestry commemorates the failed attempt by the French to invade Britain near Fishguard in 1797.
Coastal Bus Services
  • Leave the car behind and explore Pembrokeshire by bus - from Easter to the end of September there are 2 'hail and ride' bus services, the 'Strumble Shuttle' which meanders along the coast to St Davids and the 'Poppit Rocket' to Poppit Sands (the start of the Coastal Path) and Cardigan.

Manorowen Walled Gardens, Goodwick, Pembrokeshire
  • Manorowen Walled Gardens in Goodwick are well worth a visit. The one and a half acre walled and kitchen garden have been restored to offer a huge variety of interest in a small space. The grounds also contain a late 18th C summer house with wonderful views across Fishguard Bay.

Cwm yr Eglwys
  •  A a short walk (0.5m) from Pwllgwelod or a drive down a narrow country lane takes you to this pretty cove with its sandy beach overlooked by the romantic ruins of the 12th century Church of Saint Brynach.
  •  A great favourite with families and renowned for having its own microclimate - a few degrees hotter and dryer compared to other parts of the Pembrokeshire coast.
Newport
  • This vibrant seaside village is a short drive away - sample good food at award winning restaurants, coffee shops, pubs, browse art and craft galleries and for golfers there is a fabulous links golf course overlooking the sweeping sands of the River Nevern estuary - a wonderful spot for estuarine bird watching.

Why you love Seaspray Cottage
Finest cottage, great views, great weather, until today! Dog had a wonderful time at Newport beach.
Meie and Frances, Bristol
Lovely quiet spot with great sunsets. A week in W. Wales with no rain at all was very welcome. Excellent meal, as usual, at Cnapan, Newport .
Rosemary & Tony, Hertfordshire
Our second stay certainly not our last. Weather been a mixed bag, though dolphin boat trip in New Quay is a must.
Wayne, Staffordshire
Wonderful cottage and a great time. Great places to visit, Fishguard, New Quay, Mwnt, Strumble Head (great success). Saw loads of wildlife, dolphins, puffins, porpoises and peregrines along coastal track. Fabulous cottage ideally placed.
Kevin & Sandra Stanbridge, Hereford
We have had a fantastic and very relaxing week. The dog loved the daily 1 mile coastal walk as well as walking to Fishguard & Dinas Head. Beaches at Whitesands St Davids - parking £4 April-Oct . Gwaun Valley walking & Pontfaen Woods were interesting, although welly boots are a must. It was very muddy! It was lovely to come home to a cosy fire to dry out. Tenby is beautiful, enjoyed fish & chips without pesky seagulls. Newport Beach is lovely, as was lunch at 'The Canteen' - fantastic pizzas & burgers with awesome sweet potato fries. 30 dolphins off Dinas Head were amazing.
Ailsa, Heather & Eileen Rennis & Hector the dog
It was a wonderful holiday in this perfect cottage. I am very lucky to meet the lovely owners and their sweet little dog too. Thank you very much.
Ute, Nell & Amy, Germany
A wonderful place to celebrate a big birthday. Enjoyed our stay and will recommend. Thank you!
Nikki, Martha and Trevor, Lancaster
A lovely cottage with lots of character. Great sized rooms and stunning views. Very cosy with the fire and the area had lots to offer. Amazing walks for dog! Would definitely come here again!
