Lovely comfortable cottage in a beautiful area. We loved the lanes, the wild flowers and the walks round Newport. Ilex was a welcome visitor every day. If only the weather had obliged! It would have been perfect.

We've had baking sunshine, howling winds and driving sleet but nothing could dampen our enjoyment in this wonderful setting. We are rested and restored and live to fight another day.
Pamela and Andrew Pickles Herts
Thanks for accommodating our late arrival, best instructions for arriving in the dark we've ever had. Very welcoming, lovely cottage. Children loved Ilex the dog, the shelf bed and the blue bedroom. Highlights have been Newport beach (very safe for children), Swan Inn (Little Haven),Dinas Head, Swimming pool Haverfiordwest, Heritage Canoes at Wildlife Centre Cardigan and sunset picnic at Mwnt. Second time in Pembrokeshire - will be back. Great variety of things to do in a very beautiful area whatever the weather. Our children have enjoyed the castles at Carew, Cilgerran and small castle museum at Haverfordwest. Have all enjoyed late afternoon body boardoing at Newport beach and the peacefulness of this quiet valley! Good food also at the Hungry Trout New Quay and the Garden Room in Newport - all with excellent service.
Hunt family Cheshire
A very well appointed cottage with beautiful surroundings. We enjoyed re-visiting Cwm Gwaun and Newport. Also the Dyffryn Arms, where we were made welcome.
Martin family Surrey and Strasbourg
A wonderful peaceful week despite odd downfall of rain! Lovely helpful hosts, cottage most comfortable best yet. Beaches couldn't be better for dogs. Golden Lion Newport great food.
