About Haven View
Stylish, luxury house with Haven Waterway views

  • A stunning new detached house with fabulous views across the sparkling Haven Waterway.  Set in the ancient waterside village of Llanstadwell looking out over the broad tidal sweep of the waterway.
  • Skilfully designed to maximise the glorious Waterway views, the house is designed with elegant bedrooms on the 1st floor and an open plan kitchen/dining room and living rooms on the 2nd floor.
  • Beautiful, panoramic views can be enjoyed from the delightful Summer House - a perfect vantage spot to sit and relax and watch the ever-changing Haven Waterway.
  • Furnished to the highest standards and complimented by the excellent décor - the attention to detail throughout creates a wonderful self-catering cottage.
  • Luxury fitted kitchen (with wine fridge) and a dining area with fantastic views.  The elegant lounge has an oil burning stove perfect for cosy nights. Doors from the lounge open into a small study from where there is access across a bridge to the rear lawn. Follow the steep stone steps up from the lawn to the Summer House.
  • The Pembrokeshire Coastal Path is on your doorstep and a short walk away along this is the Ferry Inn - great for bar meals in the conservatory overlooking the Waterway.

About The Area

Neyland Marina

  • Various boat trips leave from the Marina -  Shearwater Safaris, trips to the bird islands of  Skomer  and Grassholm, Dale Sea Safari Wildlife Adventures, Pembrokeshire Cruising as well as trips exploring the inland 'Secret Waterway' with its quiet inlets, waterside pubs and restaurants.
  • Enjoy a meal in either the 1st floor bar/restaurant or quayside café which overlooks the interesting marina and the multi-coloured yachts in their berths - there is a chandlery here too

Brunel Cycle Trail

  • Starting (or ending) at Neyland Marina Brunel's Trail is  part of the Celtic Trail from Chepstow to Fishguard via Swansea. Traffic-free and well signed, with some gentle climbs, this is a popular shared-use path which links Neyland, once the western terminus of Brunel's Great Western Railway, with Johnston and Haverfordwest.
  • The Trail follows the picturesque Cleddau Estuary through Westfield Pill Nature Reserve, along the now disused Great Western Railway line to Johnston and then north to Haverfordwest along a path which runs parallel to the railway.
Pembroke

  • This historic town has the finest preserved medieval castle in Pembrokeshire (birthplace of Henry VII), and re-enactments and various events take place here throughout the year and was the setting used for some scenes in 'Richard II', part of the BBC's Shakespeare season 'The Hollow Crown'.
  • There are gift and craft shops - do visit The Corn Store with its excellent café,  an excellent delicatessen, several pubs, a fish and chip restaurant/takeaway  and an enormous antique centre housed in a disused chapel.

Mill Pond Circular Walk

  • Take a leisurely stroll around the Mill Pond through lovely deciduous woodland teeming with wildlife - swans, bats and otters. There are sites of historical and architectural interest too including the medieval walls of Pembroke Town itself.
South Pembrokeshire, Marloes Peninsula (NT) & St Brides Bay beaches
  • A short drive away are many of Pembrokeshire's wonderful beaches - over the bridge to the south, Freshwater East, Barafundle and Broad Haven South or west to the Marloes Peninsula and the beaches of St Brides Bay.
  • Marloes Sands is one of Pembrokeshire's finest beaches  - a huge expanse of sand at low tide with interesting cliff formations and rock pools at low tide to explore. Divided into little 'bays' a climb over the rocks at the western end leads to Albion Sands, a perfect little sandy beach.

 Upton Castle Gardens, Cosheston

  • Do enjoy a few hours exploring 35 acres of charming parkland including an arboretum, formal gardens, walled garden and medieval chapel.
'Dawn til Dusk' Rosemarket Golf Club, Rosemarket
  • Keen golfers will love this beautiful scenic countryside course. The club has an integral grass airstrip to welcome visitors from all over the country and promotes a 'Golf for All' policy. The course has mature trees and some rather tricky ponds which love eating golf balls.
Family Days Out
  • Within an easy drive there is a huge choice of  attractions and activities for all ages to enjoy - Folly Farm,  Anna Ryder Richardson's Wild Welsh Zoo, Manor House Wildlife Park, Dinosaur Park and Heatherton Sports Park.

Why you love Haven View
What a great place to spend Christmas! the cottage was superbly equipped for a family getaway includinmg everything for cooking Christmas lunch. Thank you for all the considerations to make this a very comfortabkle stay. View is excellent. Pembroke castle was great (even in bad weather) and Barafundle Bay is a must see. We saw the sun set near Skomer on Christmas Eve (no-one else was stupid enough to stand on the viewpoint in high winds) and the kids loved seeing the tanks at Castlemartin Range. Thank you for giving us a wonderful holiday.

What a great place to spend New Year!! We love this house!! Beautifully decorated with a view to die for!! We will miss everything about this home. Especially the river activity including the Irish ferry. We enjoyed watching the fireworks from the shed with our glasses of bubbly on New Years Eve. Mali and Cira loved the walks. Hope to come back soon.
Saracco-Jones famuly
Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful cottage. We always go away this time of year & this is one of the best we have ever stayed in. We look forward to coming back soon.
Hannah & Matt Holland
We have stayed in lots of Quality Cottages in and around Neyland and this is by far the best. Spotlessly clean and very cosy with beautiful views. Lovely surprise. We found everything that we needed in the house. Hope to come again. Many thanks.
Reynolds family
What a lovely house! We've been cosy, despite the weather. Loved the fascinating views of the port and tugs. Would love to visit again some time. Thank you for the welcome treats, much appreciated.
Pat, Nanny & Kathy
What a beautiful and unusual house. We loved the views and stayed up into the early hours to watch the arrival and departure of the ferry! Thank you for the welcome presents, much appreciated. The dog didn't find the steps to the cabin below but at 72 years, I just made the one trip to the top (of the garden) How could I not! We went to some old haunts. Favourites - Barafundle and Broad Haven South, also found a new one Marloes. Why do they aways have to be accessed by steps and deep sand.! Your location is great, so close to so many beaches and activities. We had a lovely week, even if the weather wasn't perfect. Your house has everything & we intend to come back sometime & explore more of your beautiful county. many thanks, Dorothy

Thanks for taking us at very short notice. The house is beautiful and a perfect base to explore the area. Even better than the house we had originally booked. Thank you.
Liz, Bethan, Mable & Olive
Had a lovely time at beaches and castles and watching boats from the house. The weather behaved itself most of the time too. House perfect for this type of week away - even managed to do some baking. Thanks for the welcome and the stay. May see you again next year!
