Why you love Carew Cottage
My wonderful mother in law, a young ninety two year old has brought her family to Manorbier, so we could all see where she started her married life in 1945. We much enjoyed a visit to the castle to see the little house within the walls, where she lived and hearing her reminiscences. It was aslo interesting to hear about her earlier time here at the army camp in 1941, when she was working as a kinetheodolite operator. Carew Cottage provided the perfect place for this memorable week.

We have had a fabulous few days in well appointed, comfortable Carew Cottage. Everything in your cottage was perfect and the village people were so friendly. We have had some beautiful coastal walks in ideal weather. We heartily recommend the Pembroke Tandoori Indian Takeaway. The food was delicious; hot and delivered promptly. All five of us hope one day to return.

Staying with my family of 7 all adults with no children and one dog. A high standard of finish throughout, nicely equipped kitchen. We spend most of the time in the excellent extension kitchen/diner/living room. A Sky+HD box is a nice touch. Very nice bathrooms with good pressure and hot water in all. Highly recommend, we will seriously consider coming back next year!

We loved our stay in Carew Cottage the garden was looking so pretty and beaches were beautiful especially once the wind died down and the sun shone on us!

Wonderful house garden & location. The coast & beaches between Tenby in the east and Angle Bay in the west would be difficult to beat. We recommend the following restaurants: South Beach Bar Grill, Tenby The Wavecrest Cafe, West Angle Bay Waves Italian Bar & Restaurant Celtic Haven, Lydstep (exceptional) Our favourite short walks other than Manorbier: Penally Station to Tenby along the beach (1 mile) Bosherston Lily Ponds to Barafundle (21/2miles approx) Skrinkle Haven to Church Rocks (1/2mile max) We will definately be back -many thanks.

What a beautiful place to stay - the house and garden exceeded all our expectations. It was perfect for our multi generational party and so attractively furnished & well equipped. The castle & beach are magic for small children & we've had lovely weather too. Thank you so much.
