About Oliveduck Cottage
A well-equipped three bedroom terraced cottage, a period property that has been renovated and refurbished to a high standard throughout. A perfect holiday base at any time of year. Dogs are welcome to stay too, brilliant for exploring the beaches of both the north and south of Pembrokeshire .
  • With an array of restaurants, cafes, boutique shops and galleries literally on your doorstep and the golden sandy beaches of Tenby and Saundersfoot just a 20 minute drive away, Oliveduck Cottage is the perfect choice for couples or families seeking a quality Pembrokeshire cottage.
  • Thoughtfully furnished with your comfort and warmth in mind, Oliveduck Cottage is a welcoming spacious home for holidays in a great location - opposite the town's park.
  • The open plan living and dining room is the hub to the cottage. Rest and unwind by the fireside for a cosy night or enjoy a holiday meal at the funky dining table and plan your next day’s adventure.
  • A fully fitted kitchen offers all you need to get creative with local ingredients including a range oven. Open the back door, and step up onto the outside terraced patio area. Here you’ll find large outdoor sofas and an outdoor dining table, ideal for a morning cup of coffee or an alfresco dinner.
  • The stylish bedrooms are on the first floor. The central staircase leads you first to the indulgent family bathroom, and then on to the 3 bedrooms – a choice of 2 boutique style double bedrooms and a further bunk bedroom, ideal for children.
  • The added bonus of this cottage is the lofty playroom on the second floor, accessed via a spiral staircase and ideal for older children who would like their own space. Up here you’ll find beanbags, large smart TV with DVD’s and an X box 360.
  • If you can steel yourself away from the cottage then there is so much to explore. Narbeth is the ideal gateway to the beautiful Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. The area offers something for everyone from beaches to castles to stunning coastal walks, and a range of family destinations from dinosaurs to dare devil rides.
  • Whether it’s a family summer holiday or a winter weekend getaway, Oliveduck Cottage is a perfect holiday retreat and boasts everything you could wish for on your Pembrokeshire holiday.

About The Area
Narberth – bustling market town with wonderful restaurants.
  • You can easily while away a day or two in Narberth itself - voted one of the Top 10 High streets in the UK with its boutique shops, galleries, delicatessens, cafes and restaurants.
  • Catch a performance in the popular and vibrant Queen’s Hall on the High Street, also home to the weekly local produce market each Friday.
  • Narberth Museum is well worth a visit, the museum looks at Narberth’s long and interesting history. Treat yourself at the museum’s cafe and bookshop.
  • Just outside the town centre is Narberth’s Castle, first recorded as a Norman Castle in 1116 and with strong links to The Mabinogion. A rectangular castle with towers on each corner but, unfortunately, not much remains today.
Places to eat
  • Among the must try eateries in Narberth is the ever popular, Ultracomida. A stylish, deli and tapas bar on the High Street. It’s extremely busy and you may have to queue to get a seat at one of the few shared large tables...but it's well worth it.
  • 32 Townhouse occupies a late Georgian residence on the High Street and serves modern bistro food for lunch and dinner. There is also a bar with happy hour at the weekend. Plum Vanilla is another great stop for lunch - serving a good selection of home made and, where possible organic, Mediterranean dishes, sandwiches, soups and cakes.
  • For a real holiday treat or special occasion, head to The Grove Hotel, situated just a 5 minute drive from Oliveduck Cottage. Its award winning restaurant serves locally sourced fresh ingredients in a stylish setting.
Tenby, Manorbier and Saundersfoot's Blue Flag Beaches
  • The coast is not far away. Stay at Oliveduck Cottage and you’ll be within easy driving distance of the lovely sandy beaches and pretty harbours of Tenby and Saundersfoot.
Tenby, medieval walled town
  • The medieval walled town of Tenby with its picturesque harbour is a popular seaside resort. Interesting little shops, galleries, pubs, restaurants, cobbled streets and 5 glorious beaches (Blue Flag) to choose from. Tenby harbour has a thriving boating and fishing community  - try your hand on a mackerel fishing trip or take a boat trip over to the holy island of Caldey.
Saundersfoot Village
  • Pretty, bustling Saundersfoot has 3 lovely beaches, harbour, shops, pubs, gallery, a wonderful old fashioned sweet shop, 'Chobbles', good sea food restaurants, and gifts shops.
  • Indulge yourself at the St Brides Hotel & Spa, a luxury hotel designed around the spectacular view over Saundersfoot Harbour and Carmarthen Bay.
Pembrokeshire Coastal Path
  • Pembrokeshire's Coastal Path stretches 186 miles from start to finish. Coastal bus services especially designed for walkers will pick up and drop off all along the route so you can choose to walk sections at a time.  Secluded beaches, castle ruins and sleepy fishing villages are a few of the sights you will see. Watch out for puffins and seals who enjoy this coastal habitat.
Pembrokeshire Castles
  • There are magnificent castles within easy driving distance each well worth a visit - beautiful Carew & Tidal Mill, fascinating Manorbier & pretty sheltered beach, grand Picton with lovely gardens and Llawhaden, once the summer residence of the Bishops of St Davids.
Cwm Deri Vineyard
  • Hidden away in Martletwy, you'll find Pembrokeshire's only vineyard which is open all year round. The wine estate, first planted in 1991, now houses 3,000 vines and welcomes visitors to sample the produce and take a walk around their 2.5 acres of vineyard. Enjoy a tasting of the wines and liqueurs, on the patio and terrace, with a commanding view over the vineyard and beyond to the National Park. The restaurant offers lunch seven days a week.
Family days out in Pembrokeshire
  • There is a wonderful choice of days out for the whole family when staying at Oliveduck Cottage. Oakwood, Folly Farm, Heatherton, Tenby Dinosaur Park and Anna Rayder Richardsons 'Wild Welsh Zoo' are fun for the whole family to enjoy.

Why you love Oliveduck Cottage
A really nice place to stay, lots of great places to go, that are really close. We also enjoyed the Xbox in the attic.
Edgar, Another world, Sutton Coldfield
A lovely house in a super location. Gave us a great base for the week. Our teenagers loved the attic room and we, the parents, enjoyed the extra space too! Our thanks to the owners Tim & Sarah, who were so accommodating and helpful.
Pearson family, Peterborough
Lovely cottage full of home comforts and more. Great décor and furnishings.

We have been very lucky with the weather apart from one day of rain and the Saturday morning when Nik did the Colby Park Run (he was very pleased with 8th place).Lots of friendly people there and a very popular place to to be at 9am on Saturday mornings.

Never having heard of Narberth before it is a very central to visit Tenby, St Davids, Carew Castle (highly recommended) and Folly Farm. Would recommend this cottage to all family and friends. It's a shame the Food Festival starts the day after we leave. Many thanks.
Jo & Nik Newbury, Berkshire
Wonderful cottage, very comfortable and clean with a lot of thought gone into the décor! Impressive furnishings! Very quaint town with all you need. Lovely shops!! Well situated to visit all we wanted to see. Would love to come back – very soon hopefully. Jane, next door is very helpful and kind. Thank you very much.x

The house certainly has quality. It has a great interior - spacious, well furnished, I particularly loved the spiral staircase leading up to the converted attic. Easily accommodates 5 adults, perfect for Narberth's pubs and restaurants and nearby Tenby. The house was a prominent feature of the weekend, and a great base for a relaxing holiday.
Mr Jenkins and party
A wonderful stay in a fantastic cottage. Amroth beach is lovely and on a wet day the indoor pool at the Blue Lagoon is great fun! Peppercorn and Get Stuffed are great family restaurants. If you fancy a lazy breakfast Lilly's coffee shop do great bacon butties.
Lynne, Steve & boys, Manchester
It really is a charming house, really suitable for families exploring the beautiful west Wales.
