Why we recommend The Castle...

Experience ultimate luxury with family or friends in a splendid historic castle on the edge of the celebrated Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.

About The Castle
Take exclusive use of surely one of the most beautiful properties in Pembrokeshire - perfect for those grand celebratory occasions or a lavish retreat.
  • The Castle is truly splendid – a unique luxury property and for some a perfect holiday destination by itself. It is quite simply breath taking, a luxury abode quite unlike any other.
  • Sitting high above the landscape offering panoramic views over St Brides Bay and the Preseli Hills, the Castle has been sympathetically restored throughout with no expense spared. The smart designer interiors are both contemporary and stylish yet very warm and welcoming.
  • Offering the ultimate in comfort, all six-luxury en suite bedrooms have spectacular views of the coast or countryside. Deep set windows, timber floors, occasional exposed stone walls, subtle colour schemes, crisp white bed linen, quirky shapes and luxurious bathrooms will delight.
  • The modern and sleek kitchen is equipped with every gadget you will need to prepare tasty meals. If you prefer, delicious breakfasts can be prepared for you throughout your stay, as can those special dinners and family milestone meals.
  • The jewel in the crown is the unique roof top sun room with views over the battlements. On warm evenings throw open the floor to ceiling glass doors, step out and enjoy pre- dinner drinks and breathe in the salt laden air direct from the sea.
  • Cosy evenings can be spent in the Court lounge that provides a stylish space to unwind. For the ultimate in relaxation, however, why not treat yourself to a massage or facial in the treatment room high up in the turrets of the castle. This can be arranged before or during your stay.
  • The Castle is simply stunning – the sheer scale and expanse of this fabulous property alongside its absolute luxury and attention to detail is incredible. It is sure to delight whatever the occasion!

Newgale and Pembrokeshire Coastal Path

  • Explore the flower-decked cliffs along the coast footpath in either direction from the beach at nearby Newgale.
  • Newgale is a stunning beach with almost 2 miles of sand, backed by a huge pebble bank, particularly popular with watersports enthusiasts.

Druidston Haven and Nolton Haven

  • Just a 10-minute drive away from The Castle is the beautiful unspoilt beach of Druidston Haven - bounded by towering rock faces, home to myriad sea birds and with more than a mile of smooth, golden sands at low tide.
  • Druidston, if you are a walker, is an access point for the Pembrokeshire Coast Path with its 186 miles of fabulous coastal scenery.
  • If you ride you can hire a horse from nearby Nolton Haven Stables and gallop across the sands.

 St Davids

  • Investigate the magnificent medieval Cathedral and ruined Bishops' Palace dedicated to Wales's Patron Saint. The Cathedral is a busy church but also an international venue for music throughout the year; a memorable and rewarding place to visit. The Bishop's Palace will captivate your imagination and take you back to glories past.
  • With its independent cafés and local produce, there is plenty to keep you occupied for days of browsing. Don't miss the country market on a Thursday between April and September. In Oriel y Parc, you will find lots of information about the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, useful maps and guidebooks as well as a Class A, National Museum of Wales art gallery and café.

Twr y Felin Hotel, St.Davids

  • Enjoy a celebratory dinner at Twr y Felin Hotel, the sister hotel to The Castle. Complimentary transfers are available to and from The Castle to Blas Restaurant – a two AA rosette restaurant offering fine dining and a menu inspired by the seasons and local produce.

I've been meaning to get in touch with you and say how wonderful it was to have The Castle for our special celebration in the summer - it couldn't have been more perfect and everyone was so impressed with the level of service from your staff and the high quality of The Castle itself.
