Pembroke Ferry is a small waterside village under the Cleddau Bridge with far reaching views down the Haven Waterway. During the 1500's a regular ferry rowed by two men crossed the river to Burton Ferry on the opposite side.
The historic village pub, The Ferry Inn, serves food and ales inside and on a terrace beside the river. The Cleddau Bridge Hotel at the top of the hill offers an a la carte menu in the Royal Restaurant or informal meals in the Alberta Bar. Pembroke Ferry is 2.7 miles from the ancient market town of Pembroke, 11 miles from the seaside resort of Tenby and 9 miles from the county town of Haverfordwest. Pembrokeshire Watersports Centre at East Llanion is just half a mile walk away. Folly Farm and Manor House Wildlife Park are quality family attractions within 12 miles. Pembroke Ferry holiday cottages are well placed for exploring south and north Pembrokeshire.
