  • Period west Wales cottage farmhouse built in traditional 17th C Pembrokeshire style on the farmstead which is listed in the Black Book of St Davids, in existence since 1326. A home for generations of the Rees family in the Solva Valley. Pets are welcome.
  • Quality, comfort & character assured (low head room).  Elegant, stylish cottage furnishings and fabrics.
  • Warm and comfortable throughout the year (central heating and open fire), popular with smaller families for winter breaks and honeymoon couples. Sleeps 5.

A special combination of wild flowers and gorse in the heath land provides habitats for rare small birds. Hundreds of grey seals are born on the island every year. Golfing in Pembrokeshire
  • Pembrokeshire has a wide variety of  championship golf courses to choose from - many with excellent club house restaurants. Priskilly, Newport, Cardigan and Haverfordwest are all within easy reach.
  • Just above Whitesands beach is St Davids City Golf Club, the most westerly golf course in Wales.  This 9 hole course has 18 tees playable all year round - no winter greens, no winter tees, no muddy feet - with fabulous views of Whitesands Bay, St Davids Head and Ramsey Island .
Solva Harbour Village
  • A picturesque village and quay alongside a fiord-like estuary. There is a handful of interesting shops, a gallery, a pottery, antiques and a choice of places to eat and drink. Do walk out to the headland and enjoy the spectacular coastal scenery.
  • Delicious freshly caught lobster is available in Upper Solva near to Bay View Stores.
  • Solva's excellent village shop, post office and off-licence, Bay View Stores, sells groceries, papers and angling supplies and offers a delivery service.
Solva Woollen Mill
  • Visitors are welcomed at Solva Woollen Mill at Middlemill, Solva. It is the oldest working woollen mill in Pembrokeshire specialising in flat woven stair runners, carpets and floor rugs. Traditional methods are used to create contemporary designs appreciated by Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall on their visit during the renovation of their Welsh home.
St Bride's Bay Water Taxi for Walkers
  • Solva Sailboats operate a water taxi which will take you to your chosen destination from where you can walk back along the stunning Pembrokeshire Coastal Path to Solva.
