About The Area
St Davids
  • Situated in peaceful agricultural countryside, in the centre of the St Davids Peninsula, The Granary is only a short drive to St Davids.
  • With its splendid cathedral dating back to the 12th Century, Bishop's Palace, cafés and local produce, there is plenty to keep you occupied in St Davids. Don't miss the country market on a Thursday between April and September. In Oriel y Parc, you will find lots of information about the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, useful maps and guidebooks as well as an art gallery and café.

St Davids Cathedral and Bishops' Palace

  • Investigate the magnificent medieval Cathedral and ruined Bishops' Palace dedicated to Wales's Patron Saint. The Cathedral is a busy church but also an international venue for music throughout the year; a memorable and rewarding place to visit. The Bishop's Palace will captivate your imagination (and your children's) and take you back to glories past.

  • There are a number of beautiful beaches and coves, many of which are dog friendly and within a 20 minute drive - Aber Mawr near Mathry, Traeth Llyfn near Porthgain, Abereiddi Bay and Blue Lagoon, Whitesands Bay, Porthselau, Porthlysgi Bay and Caerfai Bay, all close to St Davids, Gwadn Beach in Solva and the glorious 2 mile stretch of golden sand at Newgale..
Boat Trips
  • High adventure or a relaxing sedate cruise - you choose. Boats leave from St Justinians (tickets sold in St Davids and Solva) to see the magnificent Pembrokeshire coastline or the unforgettable bird islands. Do remember your cameras and binoculars. Look out for dolphins, porpoise, seals and seabirds.
The Shed Restaurant & The Sloop, Porthgain
  • Lovers of seafood will enjoy fresh fish caught by The Shed's owner's own fishing boat, landed and cooked within hours at this award winning fishing village restaurant.

The Fiddlers and Doe's
Thank you so much for a wonderful week in your beautiful holiday home. We have wanted for nothing and enjoyed the teacakes and wine left for us. We can wholeheartedly recommend the 'Coastal Explorer' day we spent with TYF... great fun kayaking and coasteering with an experienced, knowledgeable guide. Whitesands as beautiful as ever with plenty of space even on the sunniest (and busiest) of days and Abereiddy a super place for exploring rock pools. We don't want to go home! Thanks again.
