About this cottage:
- This spacious end of terrace house is a short walk from Morfa Nefyn - one of the most loved beaches on the Lleyn Peninsula.
- Morfa Nefyn and its neighbouring village of Nefyn have a range of amenities including bank, library with internet access, post office, supermarket, grocery shop with a proper butchers counter, fresh fruit & vegetables, doctor and a filling station.
- Stylish and colourful kitchen, large, comfortable sitting and dining room with French doors leading onto the patio and a mature, private garden.
- Short breaks are possible at Morlais Bach. Please phone for availability and price.
- Porth Dinllaen at the far end of Morfa Nefyn Beach - once the haunt of smugglers - has been beautifully preserved by the National Trust and the popular watering hole of Ty Coch (same owners) overlooks the cove - stunning views of the Rival Mountains and Anglesey.
- Whistling Sands (yes, the sands really do whistle!) and many small unspoilt beaches are nearby. Aberdaron, at the tip of the Lleyn Peninsula, has an excellent beach and beautiful walks at Mynydd Rhiw above the village with wonderful views across to Bardsey Island and along the Peninsula to Snowdonia, or tread in the footsteps of ancient penitents along The Pilgrims Way to explore the fabulous coastline.
- Many excellent eating places within a short drive including the beach café at Llanbedrog (great beach for coastal walks) substantial meals and good snack lunches and teas at Glyn y Weddw Art Gallery just above the Beach all can be enjoyed on family holidays in Wales.
- Shore fishing at Pwllheli yields dab, huss, bream, bass, mackeral, pollack, whiting and herring caught on low and high tides.
- For all your fishing needs, tackle, accessories, bait, permits and licences call in at D & E Hughes.
