Large Wales holiday cottage - Pembrokeshire Barn Conversion (late 1700's)

This ancient Pembrokeshire barn has been recently converted into a charming and spacious home for holidays.

In a lovely location at the end of a long drive, surrounded by 11 acres of farmland (part SSSI) the barn is furnished and equipped throughout to the highest residential standards and is adjoining, but completely separate from Ffynnon Dewi Ref 976

Wildlife garden at large Wales holiday home

The large lounge has oak floors, multifuel stove, French windows opening onto the private rear wild garden and a feature staircase leading to a twin bedroom.

Children will love the large covered play area under the old hay store - badminton, table tennis, basket ball and - just in case it rains - this is a wonderful spot for a barbecue!

Solva & North Pembrokeshire

Activities to suit all tastes nearby - exciting boat rides, surfing, sailing, fishing, golf, horse riding, bird watching, walking, art and craft galleries to visit and lots of eating places from coffee shops to pubs and gourmet restaurants.

Solva's excellent village shop, off licence and post office, Bay View Stores, sells groceries, papers and angling gear.

Whitesands, Newgale, Caerfai - lovely Blue Flag beaches

The renowned beaches, coves and fishing harbours of St Davids Peninsula including Whitesands, Newgale, Caerfai, Solva, St Justinians and Porthgain are within a short drive.

Preseli Hills

Do explore the Preseli Hills - a mystical, magical landscape peppered with iron age ruins, stone circles, lots of gentle walking and magnificent panoramic views of the coastline and on a clear day even Ireland - daily ferry sailing from Goodwick, Fishguard’ s harbour all within a short drive of this luxury Wales holiday home.

Nolton Haven a short drive from large Wales holiday cottage

Nolton Haven is a tiny waterside village with a sandy beach, a village pub serving food and a 200 year old chapel nail bitingly close to the cliff edge. Keen riders will be thrilled by a gallop across the beach with beautiful horses from the East Nolton Riding Stables.

Fishguard

An ancient bustling market town and important harbour link with Ireland (day trips). It hosts a well kown annual folk festival, is home to the vibrant Theatre Gwaun and boasts the Last Invasion Tapestry on show in the Town Hall. The Marine Walk offers wonderful coastal views and the Coastal path passes through.

Boat trips to the RSPB nature reserve on Ramsey island leave from St Justinians. Home to many sea birds and seals the island is a delight to walk around.

A `Voyage of Discovery' will take you to the Gannet island of Grassholm, past the Bishops and Clerks (lighthouse) - a group of rocks and small islands inhabited by Puffins, with every possibility of seeing not just dolphins but porpoise and occasionally whales too.

Newsurf, Newgale

Experience the thrill of riding the waves. Daily surfing lessons for beginners and improvers with qualified instructors from Newsurf on the northern end of Newgale.
