- Don't feel like cooking? Cottage Caterers offer a choice of meals, side dishes, pastries & deserts for you to enjoy in your holiday home. Collection or delivery can be arranged. Phone 01348 891296.
- This holiday cottage is ideally placed for exploring North Pembrokeshire and the Coastal Paths of south Wales. There are several coves and beaches within a short drive and larger expanses of beach can be found at Newgale, Whitesands and Newport (where you can drive your car onto the sands a significant consideration for families with small children or less mobile passengers).
- Boat trips, horse riding, a day trip to Ireland, excellent game and coarse fishing at Scleddau (1m), golf clubs at St Davids, Newport and nearby Priskilly.
- Walk the National Park Coastal Path in May or June - the wild flowers are wonderful - glimpse porpoise off Strumble Head or in September and October the seal nurseries below Pwll Deri - overhead you may hear the song of the Skylark or the mewing of the Peregrine Falcon.
- An outstanding 80 year old links course in Pembrokeshire's National Park.
- Stena Line in Fishguard runs the high speed Stena Express and the super ferry Stena Europe on day trips to Rosslare in Ireland.
- Manorowen Walled Gardens in Goodwick date back to 1750. One and a half acres of garden waiting to be explored.
- Enjoy a seafood treat at award winning Wine Bar / Bistro The Shed in the pretty coastal village of Porthgain. The Shed's own boat lands the shellfish and sea food each day which is served within hours.
- Do visit 13th C Picton Castle and woodland gardens just outside Haverfordwest. The princpal rooms were remodelled in the 1750's and can be seen on a guided tour.
- When in Fishguard do drop in and browse the fine contemporary and applied art and quality crafts at the West Wales Arts Centre. Enjoy some refreshments in Cafe Celf and look out for one of the occasional musical recitals held there.
- Denys Short's garden is open every summer. Sculptural structures blend and contrast with the environment in subtle and delightful ways. Well worth a visit.
- Newport is an attractive bustling coastal village nestling on the edge of the Preseli Hillls. There are shops, galleries & restaurants to enjoy, a glorious beach and wonderful walks. Well worth a visit.
- St Davids is Britain's smallest city - in reality just a village with a magnificent Cathedral nestled at its heart. There are shops, a gallery, cafes, bars & restaurants as well as places to book boat trips out to the bird islands.
- Sealyham Activity Centre Wolfcastle and Preseli Venture Mathry offer a wide range of thrilling land and water based activities. Go on an adrenalin fuelled, fast & wet Zap Cat boat ride around the bay from Newgale. Try your skill at 10 pin bowling in CC2000 Canaston Bowl or be creative and paint your own pottery in the Creative Cafe in Haverfordwest or Narberth. There is plenty of choice whatever the weather.
- Lots to enjoy near this cosy traditional Welsh cottage between Mathry and Fishguard.
