Towy Lodge was warm and a good place to stay but could do with a little updating. I cannot fault the location and in general was a nice place but the bed linen needed renewing which left me a little disappointed. The tiles in the bathrooms were mouldy in places. It was little things, not major things. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Lovely quirkily designed cottage in beautiful area for walking and nature. Unfortunately, the bunk bed was dangerous, with the classic problem of buying a thick mattress which means the child could easily roll over the barrier. Our children ended up top and tailing in the bottom bunk. I would recommend you bring a portable guard rail if this might affect you

It is a lovely place, myself and friends really enjoyed our stay. Peaceful, and the birdlife around the bird feeders was delightful.

We stayed here for a week in July 2016, 4 adults and 4 kids and the cottage had everything we needed. Furnished to a high standard the cottage is well equipped with everything you need. The garden is lovely and the pictures don't do it justice, it's a lovely relaxing and spacious outdoor area. Lots to do locally and an ideal location for any avid off road cyclists - would recommend

As a family we stayed here between 25th.June/ 2nd.July.and on arrival were delighted to find the property was as good as shown on the photographs. We were greeted by Adrian,a charming man who explained everything about the workings of the lodge,to make our stay comfortable. This is without doubt high spec.accommodation, finished to a very high level. There are many guide books, maps, books, magazines, films to keep the family busy even on the wettest of days. There is a bird feeding station that attracts a vast array of species such as woodpecker, nuthatch, varieties of finch, tits, sparrows, jays etc,. There are many sites of interest close by and is ideal for all nature lovers. --- the Red Kite feeding station is a great experience. From our viewpoint we could not have stayed anywhere better or nicer. A big thank you to Lise & Richard for providing us with our ideal holiday home

A fabulous house, well equipped, spacious, welcoming, warm, comfy, brilliant location, best we've stayed in. We had a fantastic weekend in Wales despite the rain. Excellent information available of things to do, bird books, ordnance survey maps, oodles of kids games, etc. I cannot compliment this property enough. Can't wait to return.

Absolutely loved this place. It was clean and really lent itself to families but also just two people. Perfect spot for Llandovery college. My daughter was joining her brothers and this was a special time for me and her to spend time quietly managing the first week. I would definitely recommend this place but an added bonus was the wonderful yoga a short walk away. Lise was prompt and efficient which was a godsend as I can be scatty. I will be booking again.
