If you've ever visited a holiday cottage before, you most likely have seen a guestbook in the property for guests to leave a review for others when they arrive. Each of the following comments was lovingly left by people just like you in the guestbook left at Towy Lodge.
This is one of the most beautiful properties we have stayed it. The arrival was very welcoming. .. enjoyed the welcome basket all extremely high quality products. The property is furnished to an amazing standard and has massively exceeded our expectations. Set in a beautiful part of the country and so peaceful. Would recommend to anybody and will be looking to book again for next year. Thank you x
We stayed here for a week in July 2016, 4 adults and 4 kids and the cottage had everything we needed. Furnished to a high standard the cottage is well equipped with everything you need. The garden is lovely and the pictures don't do it justice, it's a lovely relaxing and spacious outdoor area. Lots to do locally and an ideal location for any avid off road cyclists - would recommend
As a family we stayed here between 25th.June/ 2nd.July.and on arrival were delighted to find the property was as good as shown on the photographs. We were greeted by Adrian,a charming man who explained everything about the workings of the lodge,to make our stay comfortable. This is without doubt high spec.accommodation, finished to a very high level. There are many guide books, maps, books, magazines, films to keep the family busy even on the wettest of days. There is a bird feeding station that attracts a vast array of species such as woodpecker, nuthatch, varieties of finch, tits, sparrows, jays etc,. There are many sites of interest close by and is ideal for all nature lovers. --- the Red Kite feeding station is a great experience. From our viewpoint we could not have stayed anywhere better or nicer. A big thank you to Lise & Richard for providing us with our ideal holiday home
A fabulous house, well equipped, spacious, welcoming, warm, comfy, brilliant location, best we've stayed in. We had a fantastic weekend in Wales despite the rain. Excellent information available of things to do, bird books, ordnance survey maps, oodles of kids games, etc. I cannot compliment this property enough. Can't wait to return.
Absolutely loved this place. It was clean and really lent itself to families but also just two people. Perfect spot for Llandovery college. My daughter was joining her brothers and this was a special time for me and her to spend time quietly managing the first week. I would definitely recommend this place but an added bonus was the wonderful yoga a short walk away. Lise was prompt and efficient which was a godsend as I can be scatty. I will be booking again.
