Lovely spot. Cute beach 2 minutes away. Lovely walk to peninsula lighthouse - dolphin watching! Garden big - but no good for little dogs! Garden wildlife: tame Robin; rabbits - and Red Squirrel! Only issues: kitchen tiny: needs an upgrade. Bathroom - also needs upgrade - power shower might help..

From the owner:- Thank you for your comments which we do appreciate. We have cut back hedges to give a great view of the bay. They had grown higher than we like. Also this winter we have replaced the boiler with a very efficient combi boiler which sends much more heat to all radiators — eliminating some cold spots. The kitchen has had a complete makeover and is now about 18 feet long and very light. It has all new cabinets and appliances and a large vertical radiator. The back garden is well fenced for the safety of children. Dog owners will be pleased their pets are safe too.

Lovely location. House spacious and well equipped. Loved the various chairs. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent cottage, beautiful location. Spotless on arrival, loved the welcome tray. Great secure garden for the dog. Hope to return

Perfect. Comfortable and everything you need.

The cottage was beautiful. Fabulous location with amazing views (would have been even better if the bushes to the front could be trimmed). The main thing that let this cottage down for us was the terrible smell of the bedding. Both bedding in the double rooms smelled of damp. Even hanging the duvets out on the line didn't get rid of the smell.

Thank you to the caretaker firstly for a lovely clean bungalow. Thank you for the milk and cake. This bungalow is near heaven on earth. We have had a great week here. Everything is FAULTLESS. Thank you very much.

A whole week of amazing weather. The house is lovely, well kitted out, very clean and unbeatable access to beach. Had some good trips out - can recommend Beaumaris Castle, Llynnon Mill and Copper Museum at Amlwch. Lligwy beach is great for kids (and dogs), miles of sand and shallow water. Thank you for such a lovely house.

All I can say is when we arrived our first words were "OMG - fab!". What a wonderful place this is. We have felt at home from the word go. It is relaxing, quiet and situated in a great area. We had the pleasure of seeing dolphins out at sea when at the lighthouse. Coastal path walks are a must. Looking forward to our next visit already.

We've had another two lovely weeks at Hafan Deg. The sun shone at some time almost every day. It's been cold but bright - only rained one evening, late. What a lovely surprise to see the new porch and utility room - superb for shedding our boots and feeding and towelling down the dogs. We had some great walks again - to Aber Falls and Lake Idwal in Snowdonia, also the grounds and park at Penrhyn Castle - the snowdrops in abundance and the walled gardens really warm. Thank you again for sharing your holiday home and for the welcome tray with bara brith.

This is our third time at Hafan Deg and we still love it more each year. It's so relaxing and such a wonderful spot with walks on the doorstep. The fencing is a great improvement for the dog - she loves it here and on nearby Lligwy beach

Wonderful cottage, wonderful holiday. Our second time at Hafan Deg. Even better now the garden has a fenced area for Flynn ( Golden Retriever). We will be back next year as this is the most relaxing holiday we have had.

What a beautiful house! We have all enjoyed our stay here very much and have loved watching the tide come and go in the bay. We have exhausted ourselves with walks. The sea views over the headland are stunning. If it is at all possible we will be back.

Fantastic holiday home and gardens - more than we expected - super to play in and explore. One of the first places we've been to that lived up to the glossy brochure and more. Well presented and equipped - housekeeping needs to be commended.

Went to Benllech, walked on the beach, did a little shopping in Tesco and bought fish & chips for dinner. Hafan Deg is in a beautiful location and the views are hard to match. Our every need has been catered for and we have had a relaxing break. Thanks so much.

Thank you for letting us stay in this beautiful holiday home in such a lovely setting. The boys would have happily spent the whole week searching the rock pools in the bay! Hope to be back again soon.
