Location

Beaumaris

At the end of the  High Street is the romantic ruined Beaumaris Castle, a World Heritage Site

Places to eat

  • Ye Olde Bull's Head Inn in the heart of town has been long established as one of Anglesey's best with its elegant brasserie and loft restaurant (evenings only) the Old Butcher's Shop on the high street is also highly recommended.
  • Close to the apartment is Central Bakery - lovely fresh artisan breads and delicious cakes - and there is a great variety of cafes and tea rooms to choose from including  a superb ice cream parlour, an excellent fish & chip café/takeaway and a  small Italian restaurant above a butcher's shop owned by a local farmer who supplies his own organic meat and fresh vegetables.
  • 5 miles away at Menai Bridge and located right on the edge of the Strait is Dylan's Restaurant and Marram Grass, some 15 miles away at Newborough, has been making waves in the national press and is included in The Good Food Guide for 2016. Don't be put off by the appearance of what is basically a tin roofed shack  - the food is superb!
