Guest Book Comments

Thank you for sharing your lovely characterful house. A week of extreme weather - snow, sleet and high (very high) winds. You have obviously spent a lot of time, thought and hard work into furnishing and decorating this home, much appreciated.Only two of us plus dogs - we would like to return one day with extended family - this is so obviously a family home - we would like a place like this our selves. Mountains, sea and shops in walking distance. What more could we ask for? Thanks!

Our second visit this year, 6th so far. That says it all. Yes, we had weather! But 5 Green Edge caters for all kinds of weather - and does it in style. We love your house and we are now going home to plan our next visit. Thank you.

Our 4th stay at No5 Green Edge has been everything we hoped for. From the moment we stepped through the front door we were relaxed and having a wonderful holiday. We will be back - its heaven on earth. Many thanks indeed.

Not the holiday we were expecting! Instead of diving indoors & warming ourseleves by the fire, we lolled about in the courtyard soaking up the sun. Trust Anglesey to keep us on our toes!! Lovely views day & night - the Strait was like a mill pond during our visit so reflections of lights from the maninland kept our interest. Who needs TV with these views. Wonderful, relaxing break. Thank you

Another fabulous holiday - great weather, good sailing, walking & exploring. The house worked wonderfully for us and of course, the views from the sitting room are the best in Beaumaris! Thanks from all the facilities that served us well yet again.

The townhouse was a stunning house in a beautiful location. The owner was exceptionally helpful and communicative. A fantastic place to welcome in the new year. Would highly recommend to all.

Great location with gorgeous views. The Townhouse has a lovely homely feel with plenty of space. Thank you for an excellent stay.

Rebecca Atkinson - 26th September 2018

A large property in a great location. Decor and furnishings a little tired (or shabby chic - depending upon your point of view). The house has a grande feeling about it with the servants bells and you can feel the history. Facilities very good. We had a boiler issue mid way through the holiday and that was efficiently sorted first thing the next morning after a phone call with the owner. We arrived, unknowingly, to the Beaumaris Food Festival which was on the Green opposite the house, which was quite noisy and not what we had anticipated. But we went to the festival, which was very good, and the music finished by 8pm on the Saturday. The one negative is that the house it is next to to the Yacht Club and on the Saturday night they had an intrusively loud disco on the first floor that went on until midnight. It was difficult to relax.

Very comfortable and in a beautiful position overlooking the coastline. The patio at the back and extra room in the garage were much appreciated. A downstairs toilet would have been a useful addition. Very clean apart from the oven. The dishwasher hadn’t been emptied.

The Townhouse felt welcoming, spacious and clean. Fabulous views from the first floor drawing room. Very well equipped kitchen and all rooms nicely furnished with many items relevant to the period of the property. We would have found a 'welcome book' helpful as we had to search round to work out things like the heating and Wi-Fi but we did appreciate the owner contacting us 2 days into our stay to check that all was ok and that we could contact him with any problems during our stay. The parking on the green opposite - it was easy to arrange the weekly permit and our cars were extremely handy at all times in busy Beaumaris.

Not clean, dirty plates and bars of soap. Broken windows. Had to make own bed over a grubby mattress. All kitchen cupboards were greasy. Cutlery drawer had to be completely emptied and cleaned.
