A wonderful Georgian townhouse in the prettiest town in North Wales - this quality holiday home is close to stylish shops, galleries and restaurants of Beaumaris.
The house was rather large for the 2 of us but in a lovely location with fabulous views of Snowdonia in the distance. Would recommend staying in Beaumaris as it has everything you needvon the doorstep.

Delighted that you enjoyed The Townhouse and Beaumaris, the location is ideal for leaving the car and exploring.
Lovely cottage with fantastic views. It was very comfortable and the new boiler meant it was very warm. Plenty of things to do in the area.

Thank you we are delighted you had a lovely stay.
clean and tidy but a bit tired and in need of some updating within keeping of the period, it was a very cold 4 days but we struggled to be warm original front windows had cracks in glass letting huge draughts through, and I would be concerned for children being near windows, window in bedroom had large gap at the top also allowing wind and cold through .bed very hard ,wardrobe difficult to use as chaise in front of it . I'm sure in the heat of summer a good cottage with good outdoor space but perhaps not a winter rent and in comparison with others in the area in need of decorating

The townhouse was a stunning house in a beautiful location. The owner was exceptionally helpful and communicative. A fantastic place to welcome in the new year. Would highly recommend to all.

We are so glad that you had a great stay over the New Year, thank you for your lovely comments.
Great location with gorgeous views. The Townhouse has a lovely homely feel with plenty of space. Thank you for an excellent stay.
A large property in a great location. Decor and furnishings a little tired (or shabby chic - depending upon your point of view). The house has a grande feeling about it with the servants bells and you can feel the history. Facilities very good. We had a boiler issue mid way through the holiday and that was efficiently sorted first thing the next morning after a phone call with the owner. We arrived, unknowingly, to the Beaumaris Food Festival which was on the Green opposite the house, which was quite noisy and not what we had anticipated. But we went to the festival, which was very good, and the music finished by 8pm on the Saturday. The one negative is that the house it is next to to the Yacht Club and on the Saturday night they had an intrusively loud disco on the first floor that went on until midnight. It was difficult to relax.
Very comfortable and in a beautiful position overlooking the coastline. The patio at the back and extra room in the garage were much appreciated. A downstairs toilet would have been a useful addition. Very clean apart from the oven. The dishwasher hadnt been emptied.
The Townhouse felt welcoming, spacious and clean. Fabulous views from the first floor drawing room. Very well equipped kitchen and all rooms nicely furnished with many items relevant to the period of the property. We would have found a 'welcome book' helpful as we had to search round to work out things like the heating and Wi-Fi but we did appreciate the owner contacting us 2 days into our stay to check that all was ok and that we could contact him with any problems during our stay. The parking on the green opposite - it was easy to arrange the weekly permit and our cars were extremely handy at all times in busy Beaumaris.

Not clean, dirty plates and bars of soap. Broken windows. Had to make own bed over a grubby mattress. All kitchen cupboards were greasy. Cutlery drawer had to be completely emptied and cleaned.

Thank you for sharing your lovely characterful house. A week of extreme weather - snow, sleet and high (very high) winds. You have obviously spent a lot of time, thought and hard work into furnishing and decorating this home, much appreciated.Only two of us plus dogs - we would like to return one day with extended family - this is so obviously a family home - we would like a place like this our selves. Mountains, sea and shops in walking distance. What more could we ask for? Thanks!
Our second visit this year, 6th so far. That says it all. Yes, we had weather! But 5 Green Edge caters for all kinds of weather - and does it in style. We love your house and we are now going home to plan our next visit. Thank you.
Thank you very much for the week - long stay. The house is beautiful and the views were spectacular. We enjoyed exploring Beaumaris and especially liked the castle. We had a wonderful Christmas!
Spent a lovely few days great November weather. Tried the Spa at Tre-Ysgawen Hall, walked from Moelfre and Abergwyngregyn. Murphy and Dilly had a great time.
Thank you very much for a lovely long weekend. You have such a wonderful home in such a beautiful location with breathtaking views from the windows.
Beautiful beaches, amazing castle, even better moat. Thanks for having us. Thanks for letting us stay in your lovely home. Loved the sunset over the mountains. We've had a lovely weekend. Thank you so much for letting us stay - beautiful place!
Our 4th stay at No5 Green Edge has been everything we hoped for. From the moment we stepped through the front door we were relaxed and having a wonderful holiday. We will be back - its heaven on earth. Many thanks indeed.
Not the holiday we were expecting! Instead of diving indoors & warming ourseleves by the fire, we lolled about in the courtyard soaking up the sun. Trust Anglesey to keep us on our toes!! Lovely views day & night - the Strait was like a mill pond during our visit so reflections of lights from the maninland kept our interest. Who needs TV with these views. Wonderful, relaxing break. Thank you
Another fabulous holiday - great weather, good sailing, walking & exploring.
The house worked wonderfully for us and of course, the views from the sitting room are the best in Beaumaris! Thanks from all the facilities that served us well yet again.
We could not believe the size of this wonderful house. We have had a wonderful holiday. The weather has been grat. Lovely location, beautiful views. Nice relaxing location. Thank you.
