Lovely cottage and welcome from Diana. Despite changes due to Covid safety measures, it was a very well equipped cottage and perfect stay for a family break. It was very clean. Close to beautiful beaches and stunning views across to Snowdonia.
Fantastic decor and views. Very peaceful break.
Beautifully appointed accommodation. Helpful friendly owners who rented us this property with an hours notice! Well equipped kitchen. lovely bathrooms. super spot to explore this part of N Wales.
What a fantastic place to stay, what you see in the pictures is what you get. The cottages was beautiful, so clean, fresh and very nice decor. The owners were very accommodating, phoned me prior to setting off to inform me of road works and gave me alternative directions, helped me with my luggage, showed us a local map that they had highlighted places to eat, places of interest and left a lovely welcome pack and bottle of prosecco. Would highly recommend to family and friends.
Excellent, modern, brand new.
If you've ever visited a holiday cottage before, you most likely have seen a guestbook in the property for guests to leave a review for others when they arrive. Each of the following comments was lovingly left by people just like you in the guestbook left at Stabal.
Our second visit to Stabal Plas Marian and will definitely not be the last. We have travelled all over the island and enjoyed fantastic weather. Recommend the Liverpool arms Beaumaris for an excellent Sunday lunch. Stabal a perfect bae. Mal most welcoming and everything perfect for our stay. Hope to be back next year.
Weâ??re so pleased this accommodation was available for our stay in Anglesey. The cottage was a great base and was finished to a high standard. Mal and Di were very friendly and welcoming. We will return in future and would highly recommend it here!
We were made to feel welcome from the moment I phoned to confirm our time of arrival. Mal, and his wife Diana, are the perfect hosts and a mine of information regarding the local area, things to do and see and where to eat etc. Our cottage was delightful, beautifully presented, clean and incredibly welcoming. We were given a guided tour by Mal, who helped bring our luggage from the car and couldn't do enough to help us. He wowed us with the beautifully renovated, and stylish wooden interior of the cottage, combined with contemporary light and modern fixtures and fittings. There was a welcome bottle of Prosecco, welsh cakes and bara brith (Welsh fruit loaf) too, and a beautiful vase of flowers on the table. We were very impressed with how this cottage was presented and the warmth of our welcome. The cottage had everything we needed for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The layout of the house was super with the baby's room adjoining the master bedroom, and the beds/ bedlinen/sheets were fresh, clean and very comfortable. We were even presented with a brand new highchair for my granddaughter which was a lovely gesture. There was a communal well equipped outdoor area and a private patio, good for bbqs. The local area and beaches are incredibly beautiful with the dramatic backdrop of Snowdonia providing the most excellent views. We had a fabulous week - thank you!
We enjoyed a lovely stay in Stabal cottage on a recent holiday in Anglesey. The cottage is beautifully bullt, spacious and immaculately presented with high quality furnishings and fittings throughout. The attractive outside space is also beautiful maintained. We received a friendly, informative welcome from Maldwyn the owner followed by lovely welcoming touches inside with fresh flowers, wine, tea, milk and cakes. We really appreciated all the luxury touches almost too many to list but including quality linen and towels, slippers and toiletries, lovely tableware, glasses and cutlery and very high spec bathrooms and kitchen. Maldwyn continued to make us feel welcome throughout the week with lovely chats and useful tips about places to visit and eat out. After a very rain soaked walk he insisted on taking our wet boots and rucksack to dry overnight by his aga returning them first thing the following day, which happened to be our most beautiful day of the holiday, when we walked along the coastal path from Aberffraw followed by lunch at The Crown in the village and a glorious afternoon on the vast empty beach. Perfect! We had such a lovely, comfortable stay at Stabal it was definitely the best holiday cottage we have stayed in and if it was for sale we could happily live there. As it isn't we will just have to return!
Thanks very much. Lovely place to stay. Great attention to detail (flannels and tea cosy!). Had a great days out in Aberffraw, Newborough, Llanddwyn and Rhosneigr. Sun shone for 4 out of 6 days.
