Red Wharf Bay and Llanddona Beach near holiday home on Anglesey

  • Red Wharf Bay and Llanddona Beach are a pleasant walk away from this Anglesey (Ynys Mon) holiday home and the historic small medieval town of Beaumaris (a fascinating place to explore) is within a short drive - excellent food at the Olde Bulls Head and the Liverpool Arms.
  • No fewer than five magnificent castles are within easy reach of Creigiaur Nant - Beaumaris, Criccieth, Caernarfon, Harlech and Penrhyn (NT)

Red Squirrels on Anglesey

  • It is estimated that around 100-150 adult red squirrels are now present across a variety of sites including gardens and woodlands in Bodorgan, Marianglas, Dulus, Plas Newydd, Beaumaris, Menai Bridge, Carreglwyd, Penrhos and Llangefni Dingle.

Llanddona Beach

  • Set against a lush green backdrop is a bit of an adventure to get to but its natural, long and spacious haven is ideal for family fun, a dip in the sea, windsurfing, kite-surfing and quality sea-fishing.

Snowdonia National Park

  • The whole of Ynys Mon (Isle of Anglesey) can be easily explored from this quality cottage and the Snowdonia National Park is within easy reach across the Telford and Stephenson bridges from this holiday home on Anglesey.

Plas Newydd National Trust

  • Do visit the home of the Marquess of Anglesey in its fine riverside setting with spectacular views of Snowdonia. It houses a large collection of Rex Whistler's paintings and a military museum with relics from the battle of Waterloo.

Coedydd Aber National Nature Reserve

  • An area of scenic beauty with a steep sided wooded valley and waterfall. A perfect place for walking, bird watching and having a picnic.

Starider Boat Trips
