Overlooking the elegant courtyard of the manor house in a rural location. The Coach House is full of warmth and personality the care and attention to detail is immediately apparent incorporating current interior trends.

  • Beaches and Coastal Path Lovely beaches abound along Anglesey's western coast nearest is Rhosneigr a great surfing destination and sandy beaches Cable Bay (Porth Trecastell) is particularly good for surfing with massive southerly swells particularly in winter. There is also a long sandy beach at Treath Llydan (Wide Bay). Trearddur Bay a few miles northwards boasts a Blue Flag beach and close to the village another lovely beach Porth Diana offers boat and fishing trips along the rugged coastline. Join the Coastal Path towards Rhoscolyn and enjoy dramatic views of the stark vertical cliffs before dipping down to Rhoscolyn beach - a hidden gem, soft sand and an abundance of rock pools in which children will love to potter!
  • Malltraeth Cycle Path and Newborough Warren Nature Reserve walk or cycle this well-signposted path across Malltraeth Estuary to Newborough Warren Nature Reserve. This forest is a bird watchers paradise with 'hides' in the woods often by small lakes ideal for quiet observation. Look out for the red squirrels Anglesey has almost completely eradicated the greys so that the reds thrive.
  • Newbrough Beach and Llanddwyn Island The miles of pristine sands from Llanddwyn Island to the southern tip of Anglesey forms one of the finest beaches in Britain - dramatic mountain views, clean clear water, woods and mythology. Enjoy the little lighthouse on the island and admire the beautifully carved gate at the entrance. Note the island is only accessible at low tide.
  • Restaurants: There has been a sudden flowering of excellent eateries throughout the island the best of which are nearby. Try The Oystercatchers in Rhosneigr a family friendly bistro-style restaurant a stylish new building that blends beautifully into the dunes. In Rhosneigr itself, there are plenty of good places to eat which include Sandy's Bistro and Mojo's Creperie. Above Rhoscolyn is The White Eagle lovely with eating out on the wide balcony in the summer or by the fire in winter. At Newborough visit the highly acclaimed Marram Grass mentioned in The Good Food Guide for 2016.
  • Plas Newydd House and Garden (N.T.) This is a Gothic manor house in a beautiful setting and what a setting situated at the edge of the rushing Straits it has magnificent views across to woodlands and the massed majesty of Snowdonia. This is a unique stretch of water and is quite breathtaking with George Stephenson's great bridge in the near distance. Gently sloping lawns dotted with beautiful trees and shrubs surrounded by woodlands this is a garden to explore and enjoy. Play areas for children in the woods and a tree house in the grounds near the house. Recently fully renovated the house gives a glimpse into a bye gone age and its eccentric owners. The National Trust has events throughout the year with art exhibitions, farmers markets, Easter egg hunts and Christmas Fairs
  • Beaumaris possibly the most beautiful town in North Wales. with its romantic castle surrounded by a moat. Lovely candy coloured Georgian and Victorian houses with a few older from the Medieval period. Full of lovely independent shops, stylish restaurants The Olde Bulle's Head needs a mention with its excellent brasserie and loft restaurant and the Janet Bell Gallery owned by renowned local art full of lovely Bric a brac and jewellery. Walk along the Victorian Pier to really enjoy the stunning views of the Menai Straits.
