Sound of the Sea in Rhosneigr is a fabulous cottage just a 5 minute walk to the beach and the little cafes and shops. The cottage is well appointed, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

The cottage was very well appointed with plenty of space to relax in. The location was excellent to get to the beach and the village and also for walking the Welsh coastal path

Lovely place to spend Christmas week. We had brilliant walks down to the beach each morning with some impressive waves and kitesurfing to watch. Brilliant walks around Moelfre, Menai Bridge and the lake by the Oyster Catcher. House was very cosy over Christmas and very kind of you to leave a Christmas tree and decorations. Merry Christmas and Happy 2018!

We have had a wonderful girls week away. Your home has been an excellent base for exploring the island and the weather has been kind. We have loved having so many beaches to explore and such different scenery to land locked Oxfordshire! Thank you.

What a beautiful corner of the world! We could easily set up campat Sound of the Sea foor much longer than a week - indeed how could we ever get enough walks along the beautiful beaches!

The house has almost everything one needs for a beach holiday. The village meets basic needs (we recommend Oyster Catcher and Mojo's for meals - and Sea Shanty Cafe in Trearddur.

We filled the week and enjoyed every minute. Lovely to be able to bring our puppy along to discover the beach too! Thank you for making your beach hut available - we hope we will be back!

We had a very pleasant week here in Anglesey which was enhanced by this lovely house. Someone has taken care to make this a comfortable and welcoming place to stay. Thank you.

We went up the Rhyddu path up Snowdon would highly recommend this. We did it with a 5 year old!

Mojo's crepes were delicious and highly recommended. Hope to return to Rhosneigr one day in the future.

Beautiful home, great setting. Close to the beach and village. Enjoyed the afternoons out in the back garden ( a sun trap). George the Beagle enjoyed his coastal walks.

Sosban & The Old Butchers Restaurant has no menu instead the chef conjures up a series of dishes using best sourced local produce available each day. Also in Menai Bridge is a Waitrose. In Beaumaris, Ye Olde Bulle's Head is a long established and consistently superb bistro and Loft dining room (booking advisable) for the latter.

The star of the show here is the Strait -with views across to high peaks of Snowdonia and the mighty Britannia Bridge in the background.
