Choose from a selection of holiday cottages on the North Welsh coast in the area of Aberconwy. The name Aberconwy refers to the River Conwy which flows past Conwy town and out to sea just south of the Great Orme Peninsula.
Conwy is a walled market town with a colourful history that spans nearly six centuries. Impressive Conwy Castle stands on the water's edge and casts an authentic medieval atmosphere over the whole town. Incredible views from the fortress' battlements stretch out over the sea towards Snowdonia's Mountains.
Aberconwy House is a treasured traditional 14th-century merchant's dwelling, the only one of its kind to have survived within the town and now owned by the National Trust. Conwy town is full of things to see and do, with plenty of places to eat and shop. For those interested in Welsh history and heritage, Aberconwy holiday cottages provide an ideal base for exploring.
