The cottage was everything we wanted. It was away from it all with stunning scenery, it was quiet except for the cuckoo, owl and woodpecker. Couldn't fault the cottage, it was exceptionally clean, everything was in its place, the garden (and you had a choice of where you sat) so peaceful. Walks straight from the door without having to use the car. Bliss!

Stunning location, beautiful old cottage decorated with love and care. Thoughtfully equipped with everything you might need. Kids playroom was a great bonus too!
One of the best properties we've ever stayed in. Great decor and location
If you've ever visited a holiday cottage before, you most likely have seen a guestbook in the property for guests to leave a review for others when they arrive. Each of the following comments was lovingly left by people just like you in the guestbook left at Henfaes Isaf.
Absolute gem of a cottage, lovely period features such as the inglenook fireplace. Weather was great so really enjoyed the alfresco dining in the evening. Had numerous clear skies so the star gazing was a real treat! The most peaceful and tranquil setting, really don't want to go back to a busy town/city. Surrounding areas are stunning, really enjoyed the waterfalls at Pistyll Rhayader and Conwy Falls. Barmouth also a great beach! Thanks for a wonderful stay, definitely relaxed and chilled! Hope to return one day!
Lots of reasons why this is one of the best holiday cottages we have ever stayed in; the location, the facilities, the décor, little homely touches like the teaset in the bedroom. We've had lovely walks from the cottage up the hills, and to forts and standing stones nearby.
This has been a wonderful time, our hearts and minds refreshed and prepared for return to work and school. To our 7 and 13 year old boys this has been a real eye-opener and they have discovered a love of rambling. From sitting watching the butterflies on the swing seat to meeting ponies on a ramble ? fantastic. Three generations have loved being here ? thank you. Hoping to come back soon.
What a lovely cottage this is, in a heavenly tranquil location and so excellently appointed in such good taste and with such attention to comfort and detail! We had a fantastic week with mixed weather, enjoying the many seating areas inside and in the pretty garden, and going for long rambles in the beautiful Welsh hills. The welcoming pack including a nice Chardonnay was consumed with gusto and thanks, and all in all we are sorry to have to leave! We'll certainly spread the word in Holland, and come back to this little slice of heaven!
Thank you so much for letting us share your wonderful house. The setting is so beautiful and the house so comfortable. We enjoyed the peace and tranquillity in the heart of nature. The welcome gifts were really appreciated. I loved the garden and exploring around the fields. Our little grand-daughter really loved the play room and pottering around outside. Thank you again. We would love to come back someday.
