About Tir a Mor & Ty Gan y Mor

Prepare to be enchanted as you drive down to these two luxury hideaway cottages in Nefyn!

  • The location is fantastic with stunning views of the 2 magnificent bays of Nefyn and Morfa Nefyn. These really are two very special properties.

  • Beautifully appointed and effortlessly stylish, both properties are cosy and comfortable with romantic bedrooms and a wealth of decorative details.

  • There is ample accommodation, ideal for family or friends who may seek a little independence.

  • Tir a Mor (Ref 1329) is next door to, but completely separate from Ty Gan y Mor (Ref 1478) with its own entrance.

  • Landscape gardens surround the cottages with terrace, lawns, patios and rockery. There are 2 small lakes on the driveway - one with decking and circular table and benches.

  • Tir a Mor has a large Hot Tub for relaxing in. Check out the sunsets from both properties, just stunning!

  • These property gems are beautifully presented and make for very special and welcoming retreats for up to 13 guests in total.

About The Area

Coastal Path

  • Join the public footpath near the driveway entrance which goes down to the village of Nefyn and links up with the Coastal Path. This is one of the highlights of the Path with the rocky promontory of Porthdinllaen and fine views to east and west. Look out for curious grey seals coming close to the shore to watch any activity!

Beaches

  • There are a wealth of stunning beaches on the Peninsula. Just below is Nefyn beach, a lovely safe haven for children to enjoy, and beyond is Morfa Nefyn beach - another wide sweeping sandy bay with the added advantage of Porthdinllaen and Ty Coch at one end. Explore the Coastal Path and discover other smaller coves such as Porth Ysgair and Porth Towyn accessed over pretty flower meadows before dipping down to these tiny coves. Visit Whistling sands near Aberdaron children will love to realise that the sands do whistle!

Abersoch and Aberdaron

  • Two popular villages on the Peninsula. Abersoch is a popular sailing centre with plenty of shops such as Fat Face and Crew, good restaurants and pubs. There is always a lively atmosphere in summer with holiday makers spilling out onto the street. There are many festivals in the summer which include a jazz festival, regattas and even sandcastle building! Aberdaron, the Lands End of the peninsula, is remote with white washed stone cottages and an ancient church precariously situated above the water. Eat out on the balcony of Ty Newydd Hotel and look across the water.- Uwchmynydd, above the village, is the best location to get a view of Bardsey Island and you can look back along the Lleyn all the way to Snowdonia.

Nefyn Golf Club

  • Is set on the dramatic headland above Porthdinllaen with spectacular views of the Rival Mountains and sublime bays, undoubtedly it is Wales's most photographed course. Quirky it may be but a round here is a must for any golf lover.

Cwrw Llyn (Local Micro Brewery) Parc Eithin, Nefyn

  • Enjoy a fascinating brewery tour, taste delicious ales and learn how this micro brewery has developed steadily since its start 2011. A variety of ales and exclusive Welsh 'Peint Glasses' are available to buy in the brewery shop. The brewery shop and tap room are open (free entry) and guided tours are available (please book) 12-5 Mon- Sat.

Places to eat

  • The Bryncynan Arms nearby is ideal for pub grub and the gastro pub at Edern The Ship is highly recommended. Try Twnti Lobster Restaurant at Rhydyclafdy for locally caught seafood and the newly opened Italian restaurant at Pwllheli, Enricos. For a special treat Plas Bodegroes near Pwllheli is a restaurant with rooms. The delightful grade 11 listed Georgian manor house has one of Wales's best chefs. If you want to shop locally Nefyn has an excellent SPAR which supplies locally sourced meat, fish and vegetables.

Two hideaway cottages for luxurious holidays in the seaside village of Nefyn on the beautiful Lleyn Peninsula. Ideal for extended families or friends sharing.
