Newly renovated charming Llyn Peninsula holiday cottage
3 Bedrooms sleeping a maximum of 6 plus cot on request. 1 King size, 1 Double and 1 Twin.
Bathroom with bath, basin and toilet. All on 1st floor.
Bathroom with freestanding bath, basin, toilet and walk in shower. On the ground floor.
Kitchen Large stylish farmhouse kitchen with fully fitted cream units, electric hob and oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher, small table, 2 chairs. Door onto back patio.
Lounge/dining room Large inglenook with wood burning stove, L shaped sofa in beige suede, matching easy chair and ottoman, coffee table, wall mounted tv/dvd, ipod docking station, dining table and chairs seating 6. High chair on request. Charming room with exposed stone walls, small windows in thick stone walls door out onto front patio.
Grounds Small slate patio area at front with table and 2 chairs, large slate patio area at the back with dining table and 6 chairs, lawn surrounded by mature trees.
Care with toddlers - not enclosed and farm buildings in use behind property although gate is kept shut.

The cottage was well appointed and lovely inside too, we stayed with our toddler and found it to be pretty much toddler proof (we didnt light the log burner though!). The owners provided a travel cot and highchair on request, and I appreciated the little childrens towel they provided for him to use. The location is very rural, an old farmhouse with no next-door neighbours (we were quite happy with that) so everywhere is a drive. We sat outside one clear night and saw the blackest, starriest sky as an owl hooted close by which was wonderful (no light pollution ). The closest beach at Llanbedrog was perfect for little ones, shallow and calm and very sheltered with little rock pools when the tide is out.The only niggle I had was that I struggled to lock the door with the key provided as it was so stiff and I had to employ the husbands muscles to do it every time.Wonderful stay in a beautiful house.

I loved the cottage but we had to go out and buy a hairdryer and a basic hamper such as bread, milk and butter would have been appreciated.

Each owner provides differing items to welcome guests from a bottle of wine or a cake to a full-blown welcome hamper it is difficult to standardise as each guest is different with different tastes and needs but we appreciate your comments and are glad that you loved your stay.

Although isolated , this cottage is great and good for families. It is certainly well situated for many of the beaches on the peninsula. Our weather wasn't great this year but we had a brilliant time yet again.
